  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Production Music for Music Sculptor, Rockmusic for "itso", Popmusic for Chris Moon

  3. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  4. A: Scobie Ryder is here. He is a Hell of a Songwriter with a ultra-fast turnaround. Its almost surreal to work with him.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: Take Slash, Scofield, Mike Stern, Pat Metheny and Andy Timmons - i try to be somewhere in between - whenever the situation requires it.

  7. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  8. A: A TV Show for Vietnam. Kitchen Duel. Short Time, much music to deliver and a new Team to work with. Challenging and so much fun at the same time. I did a lot of composing, recording & programming for that one.

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: Digital. Because its nice not to spend 4 hours with broken channels, wires and that whole crap.

  11. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  12. A: Triying to make everything possible Guitar-wise!

  14. A: Everything. I just plain love it.

  15. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  16. A: Just go ahead and ask whatever you like, i will do the best to help you. Small Budget? If the Song matches my Taste we can talk. Ask me. Please.

  17. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  18. A: My Nylon, Steel String, Mic, Babyface and Mac.

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: Startet playing in a school band. Got addicted to playing live shows. Moved to Berlin. Met a great guitar teacher who told me that i could be anything i wanted, as long as i always do what he says. Studied Jazz Guitar in Bremen. Moved to Cologne. Became a member in one of the biggest and highest aclaimed BigBands in Germany, die BigBand der Bundeswehr. Touring through Germany, Europe, North and South America and Asia. Startet producing Music in order to make my own music. made music for other artists. Composed and Produced Music for Television and Cinema.

  21. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  22. A: Probably too many .... but Snarky Puppy would be awesome. One of the best Bands currently on Planet Earth. Muse either.

  23. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  24. A: React quick to a certain mood and layer many creative guitar parts + Song Ideas.

  25. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  26. A: All my experience from being a whole heartet professional Musician for the last 20 Years. I serve the song to bring it to the level that you are expecting it to be.

  27. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  28. A: Electric & Acoustic Guitar Recordings in Pop, Rock and Jazz. Wirting and Production of Songs, Jingles, Backings, Songs, Underscores and Main Themes.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Learn your Shortcuts! After that hustling around in your DAW will be like playing a Computer Game :-)

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Rock, Pop and Jazz

  33. Q: What's your typical work process?

  34. A: I depends on what is required! 1) getting the vision right, understanding my client 2) listen to the song / listen to examples 3) play around with the song / play around with song ideas 4) hit record and hope the best! 5) if wanted post production, mixing etc 6) deliver it

  35. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  36. A: Its a basic Home Studio with everything you need in 2020: one Windows and one Mac machine, Cubase 10 with the Soundtoys everything bundle, all Izotpe Plugins + VSTs, Superior Drummer 2+3 and much more. My Signal Chain is for electric: Kemper RME Babyface Cubase and for Acoustic: Audio Technica 4060a Tube Mic (Awesome!!) RME Babyface Cubase 10 a few of my Guitars are: 86´Gibson Black Beauty 2004 PRS CE24 2014 PRS Custom24 Fender American Standard Strat handmade classical Nylon guitar Lakewood DC14CP Yamaha P120 electric Piano
