I've worked with George in the past and currently we are recording the guitar parts for a full length album. His training and experience led to the fact that he should do the production as well cause he knows how to get the best of every musician. His personality is exceptional and that's something important for a musician. I would highly recommend his services to everyone!

Thank you George Aspiotis of Studio Aspiotis for your great work!!! We at Alone Records in Thessaloniki Greece chalenged George and his crew by asking him to save the only audio source we had left coming from a near thirty year old cassette tape for our new masters and WOW!!!! What a difference!
I have a longterm collaboration with George Aspiotis. His experience, professionalism and equipment are vital for my work. He steadily mixes the backing tracks for my band's live perfomances. That's a challenging task, as we have to combine these playbacks with live playing, in many different concert halls! I absolutely recommend him to everyone!
With no doubt George Aspiotis is a top pro. The extras of George compared with the other enginiers are the high level of comunication, comprehation and co operation, respect for musicians and their songs and passion for make them happy and satisfy their demands.
Of course i will recomend George, especially for rock and heavy music. He 's my choise
I recorded my song to Euromusic UK with Geroge. he is very professional and a wonderful person...full with patience and also did the mastering and added violin to my song. I recommend him to everyone and hope I'd be able to work with him in the future again. thank you George!
So it looks like the mixing phase of the new "Spitfire" album is right around the corner now.... Getting closer guys. I think this will be a HUGE sounding record and one hell of a journey to listen to. We got some amazing sounds from the George Aspiotis Studio. Thanks George!
George is a very professional and passionate recording engineer. He pays great attention to detail and he is always willing to go the extra mile no matter how small the project is. I tracked drums at his studio last summer and the results were very impressive. I would recommend his studio to any musician looking for a professional&friendly service
George re-mastered an album that when it was recorded I wasn't satisfied with its sound AT ALL. Being a total live recording at an actual concert, not only there were mistakes but I didn't like its tone either. George restored the sound and brought life and the live vibe back to it which make it really enjoyable. Thanks George
We collaborated with Mr. Aspiotis last year for 4 months, from July - October 2015, for the needs of our new song with Erase called "Easy Riders". As a sound engineer myself, i found the whole proccess quite interesting and innovative, especially with the drum recordings section. Analog mixing proccess of course was the ultimate finishing touch!
I am so happy to have found a professisonal that meets all my expectations, always bringing the best result. Competence and dedication are your brand. But he is also very kind and attentive. Our most recent work was "The Daughter of The Poet" I love it and I hope to work with him on more productions soon. ☆ ★ :-)
Best Regards & Much Success!!! 🎼
Some people really love what they do and give you the best result out of it; one of them is Mr. George Aspiotis from Studio Aspiotis. Studio Aspiotis worked for the mastering of our album "Hit 'n' Run" and when we got the finished result back, it really sounded extraordinary. This guy really knows how an album should sound like! Recently, studio Aspiotis (through George Aspiotis himself) & our band (Sorrowful Winds-Gre) had some re-amping, mixing and mastering sessions with the best possible results! The studio is perfectly equipped, the know-how is of the highest level and George, although he is very professional, he also makes you feel like home! That's great!
I collaborated with studio Aspiotis for the recordings of the band Scarblade (ex-Ruthless Steel). George has great experience and knowledge on the whole process and the outcome was amazing. I had the opportunity to watch all the procedures from recordings to mastering so I could make a comparison with other studios. George is a professional!
Well designed, equipped with state of the art gear, experienced stuff and friendly atmosphere. Had our stuff recorded, mixed and mastered and managed to achieve the best possible outcome. Best value for money..
Interview with Aspiotis George
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: If there was a studio in this island and need to rec/mix some music... 1) U47 vintage Neuman mic 2) Neve 80 series mixing desk. 3) Studer A800 tape machine. 4) Teletronix La2a 5) TC Electronics 2290 delay. I have some friends in desert islands ... they have similar gear ... ;)
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on the next album of the Greek legendary heavy metal band Spitfire.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid setup and best from both worlds i think is the "secret".
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Love and Mojo to their music and unique sound!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: working as teamwork with artists and bands for the best outcome!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: In How many days can you provide us the master after the final mix? In 2-3 days after the mix i have to mastered it.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Editing the drums part without drummer's permission ...
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Are you trying to sound like someone specific artist/band?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: to see the real "picture" of sound. Stop checking "big brand names" in their music business , but open the ears and listen the real tone of their music. "Brand drop" isn't the answer in music business only the results!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm making music since 1990. I've spend thousand hours of recording and mixing. Professionaly I've been colaborating with over 100 artists as musician and engineer.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Musical Style as engineer not the surgical type of engineer !
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: There many of them, and i think always my answer is the same. To give them the different way of thinking in their sound. Perhaps another option.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Backround vocals: If we have a harmony choir (chord), i.e. first, third, fifth ect. , we have to tracking each hi-tone vocal twice. In mixing we have to hard panning every hi-tone ch in stereo result of this, and continue with the next tone. Next tracking and mixing -80 left and +80 right ... and goes on. The more bass notes have to be set in the centre of your mix pan. Also be careful with the extra bass notes... don't double them, use only one. Summing it in a stereo (also add different verb of lead voice) and if you like use a parallel comp. the final backing vocals in a stereo buss. voile!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Metal
Q: What's your strongest skill?
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Vibe, Life, Mojo !
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Studio setup. So It's not complicated. You see, i growing up in studios last 2,5 decades near to Neve and Ssl Consoles legend desks, Studer tapes machines in full operation and thousand hours of recording & mixing... So todays, we have here a real vintage "Allen & Heath Saber MKII" with Mute Automation (British 1986 mod with 40ch mixdown) , Apogee HD and Avid HD converters, Api, Telefunken, Oram, Neve Pre-Amps, Phoenix Nicerizer N16 and several of outboard (Neve, Amek, Eventides, Furman, Symetrix, Avalons, Lexicon, Phoenix and more). Tracking: Signal > Console + Outboard Pre Amps > Converters HD > Pro Tools HD Mixing: Pro Tools HD > Converters HD > Console + Pro Tools HD + Inserts + Outboards > Summing Mixer
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: There are many of them.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Coffe!
