Third time working with Moxie and Christian's mastering never fails to impress. He's very quick (even when I'm dragging my feet), always provides feedback, and is always happy to go the extra mile if I ask. Can't speak highly enough about Moxie!

Chris was fantastic. In addition to delivering a great master, he gave me a couple pointers on my mix to help things cut through a little more. He was always very responsive and professional. Looking forward to working together again.

For my first collaboration with Moxie I ordered a stem mastering and have been satisfied with the result.
You can tell that the guy is really on the artistic side: Good ear, brought a well deserved additional touch to finalize/correct/polish the track. I think he is also not working with the clock in mind and thatโs a great plus โ especially when it comes to mastering (you can find cheaper mastering engineers on this site but you get what you pay for I suppose ...).
Would recommend 100%. - check_circleVerified
Great work and Great professionals.
Excellent final result. First time working with somebody on this site and I picked the right one!
I ordered mixing & mastering for one of my songs, and the result of it is much better than my expectations! Amazing service and really nice too!
And I am of course gonna come back in the future with a new track that needs mixing and mastering! These guys know exactly how to achieve your desired result. They're very helpful, and they work hard until you're satisfied. They're always surpassing my expectations and providing a better result than I thought originally possible.
Quick delivery and great results.
Ordered a mix and master for one of my tracks and after a few revisions, everything was just the way I wanted. Very easy to work with which I highly value.
Moxie went above and beyond with their work on my band's track. They are super professional people and worked on our project until the entire band was satisfied with the mix. Kudos
Incredibly professional. Are extremely helpful in accommodating for your specific needs and will always deliver a great result.
Interview with Moxie Audio
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: We're actually going to say digital! We see that a lot of digital technology has caught up to the audio possibilities of analog and that you won't actually get a better sound just because it was made using analog. We specifically consulted with our engineering friend Tom about this, who owns a massive amount of analog equipment, and he expressed the same feelings, that his $30 digital plugins consistently outperform his $5000 analog equipment. Wild! Of course, we acknowledge that some things are quite literally not possible without analog equipment, which is why we have our fair share of it, but most of the time we come back to using digital as the possibilities have grown more expansive over the years.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Consult with us! If you've worked with other engineers or producers in the past, bring us their finished material and we will help you determine what you might've missed out on. We've seen some providers take advantage of customers' unknowingness when it comes to production or engineering work, and we're happy to help you free of charge in pointing out what you should keep in mind next time. If needed, we're also happy to take over the project and clean up any previous mess which might've occurred.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Electronic, but not robotic. While we try to get things as surgically correct as possible, it's often that you find things losing their human touch. We're acutely aware of this, and therefore we always try to think of how we can humanize tracks as well.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: We are mainly proficient in electronic productions such as Future House, Future Bass, Big Room, Trap, Dubstep, etc. We do also know how to produce R&B, Hip Hop or Indie type music and have found our results to be consistently better than people who specialize in those genres, mainly due to our diverse knowledge and inspiration from other genres.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Quality. Our hand-picked team of engineers has years of ear-training under their belt and knows exactly how to treat any kind of issue.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Audio Excellence. A huge reason as to why we started Moxie was because of our frustration of poorly produced and engineered material. It's surprising what mistakes can be found in the productions of big-name artists which were either missed or not fixed due to sheer laziness! Therefore, we set out our mission to be to deliver flawless listening experiences, in order to authentically captivate listeners and convert them into lifetime fans.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Research, research, research. We always try to research the target audience and the ins and outs of the music industry. It helps us achieve the perfect sound for our clients as we get a better understanding of what the audience is actually looking for. A majority of the work happens pre-production, as we scope out the project requirements and needs. The production itself happens fairly quickly once all the pieces are in place!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Tom Norris comes to mind, the audio engineer of Skrillex, Illenium, Grey, Zedd & more! Tom's incredible results have been a core inspiration to us, and we occasionally converse on audio engineering and past projects he has worked on to learn back and forth about the work here at Moxie and the projects he is working on. Overall an awesome guy and a true virtuoso!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Our work is based on our clientele's needs; Mixing, Mastering, Songwriting, Full audio productions, Audio restoration, you name it. If it's audio, then check with us. We often encourage our clientele to consult with us on what their productions might be missing, or what they need to do to achieve that extra spark. Even if you have a fully finished piece of work, run it by us and you might be surprised to find out the things that you didn't know were missing!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Here's how you can SAMPLE A KICK from ANY track! 1.) Get yourself a plugin which can split an audio signal into bands, such as Ozone Imager or a Multiband Compressor. Turn off anything that affects the audio signal (such as compression settings or widening) and use the plugin to solo the bands. 2.) Put your song on an audio track, and duplicate it 3-4 times (depending on how many bands your plugin has) 3.) Pick a section from your track where the kick is most prominent. On each of your 3-4 audio tracks, solo one of the bands (one band for each audio track) 4.) Freeze your audio tracks, and bounce them! Now you should have roughly one low, one low-mid, one mid, and one high audio clips. 5.) Take the section of when the kick plays, and tighten the transients! Now play around with fading the end of the audio clip. 6.) If you did everything right, you should now have a completely CLEAN kick that you sampled from the track! No unnecessary sub-bass or synths to be heard!
