I can compose and perform/record basslines for other musicians in the rock/pop field whether it be original songs or covers.
I’m currently 19 and have been playing guitar for nearly my whole life and began adapting those skills to bass around 5 years ago. I also play drums which has helped massively with my rhythm on the bass. I play in rock band called Supermarket Police based in Leeds and am experienced in both live and studio environments.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Most play with a pick to get that nice plucking sound. General roll off a lot of high end as to not get in the way of the rest of the mix. I tend to use a lot of slides and chromatic passing tones, a lot of my more rock based work has a lot of riffs, however, I also enjoy playing more rhythmically complex melody basslines too.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A tasteful bassline that'll bring out the best in the song without getting in the way of any lead parts or melody.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I record directly into my PC from my bass and mix the tone in FL Studio 12 with EQ, compression and amp sims.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Paul McCartney, James Jamerson, Andy Nicholson
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording basslines for mostly completed songs
