Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Recently, I made an EP for a band as a producer and audio engineer. During the producing process, I provide various opinions on arrangement. My mixing work helps them attract more audience, enter music festival, and have bigger stage. Now, you have the chance to be like them.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: In Taiwan, I have three cases of full-length albums in producing process. Meanwhile, I have been contacting bands in China, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. I hope I can be the iconic producer and audio engineer in Asia.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I can provide mixing work with the best quality in a short time. Even it is overseas cooperation, I will still provide the best service with profession and passion.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: After my skillful mixing, the band like what I have made, and release their work to the whole world. That is the most meaningful thing in my career. More importantly, other bands can know about me via these bands’ works, so I have chance to cooperate with more musicians

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: The questions I would like to ask my prospective clients are as follows: what is your expectation of your work? What do you want your audience to feel after listening to your work? What are the highlights of your songs? The reason why I ask these questions is that I hope I can provide better work with full understanding of clients’ thoughts.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have been a guitarist for 10 years, and audio engineer for 7 years. I know more about bands and know what kind of elements a band need. In my career as an audio engineer, I have helped many Taiwan’s new bands create their own works. Hence, the work enables them to promote themselves. In the end of 2017, I decide to expand my career to mix works from European and American artists.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: Before starting the whole production, I hope that we will have good communication. If you have reference track, that would be better. I hope I can make your songs have energy and punch, as well as creativity.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: When I receive your request, I will make a list including file formats and how many tracks of each instrument I need for mixing. You can upload the files through Google Drive, MEGA, Dropbox or other cloud drive platforms and share the link for me to download. I will send a trial file (about 30-60 seconds, in mp3 format) for checking. If you want to cooperate, you have to pay 50 % of production fee first. Then, I will send you the complete work (in mp3 format). Two free revisions are available. When the files are sent, you must reply for what you want to revise within 48 hours. After two revisions, you have to pay the other 50%. Once I confirm that I receive your payment, I will send the final file (in wav format).

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Audio mixing and Mastering are my common best work for my clients. I can provide mixing work with the best quality in a short time. Even it is overseas cooperation, I will still provide the best service with profession and passion.
