With years of laying down Basslines for Beatproducers, Bands, HipHop Artists and Labels, my collabs with a multitude of diverse Artists has enriched a plethora of tracks with soulful, human-feel bass with warmth, movement, and storytelling to every note.
My approach is inspired by the emotive imperfections in Dilla's samples, ensuring every note tells a story. For me this translated into 500k monthly listeners on Spotify with my own Projects like my Beat Producer Alter-Ego "flamingo zamperoni" or the Experimental Rockband "bunsenburner" (listen to get more Examples of my work).
I studied Jazz & Popular Music at the International Music College Freiburg and was offered a Berklee scholarship. Instead of academia, I chose the real-world education of countless studio sessions and live tours over 20 years.
Every project includes a special Bonus ‘Jam-Take’—a little library of extra fills, slides, transitions, and out-of-the-box elements to give your track even more depth and flexibility. You can use these to paste them wherever you like and mix/arrange with the original Take upon your needs.

A: doesn’t matter. flylo recorded drums wirh an iphone and it worked. always depends on the project. i can provide both ways of course, if some specific characteristics are demanded

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: i started playing Bass with 15 years. studied Jazz with main Instrument Bass at the International Music College, Freiburg (Germany) got a Berklee Scholarship, but was fed up with the intellectual side of Music. Now i use the best of both sides and combine it to something with knowledge and emotions. I also work as a Producer/Artist and experiment a lot with Sound/Frequencies and different recording Locations. I recorded my recent Album „noclip“ in an empty, 400sm big hangar in the south of germany. Always scouting good sounding spaces.

A: as a freelancer: flexible, laid back, in the pocket as an artist: emotions>musical perfection

A: tyler, the creator because i think he got a magical talent and spirit

A: respect the first take as a fundamental & important step in the whole process

A: as the first step i always have the first take tracked: i import the song into my DAW and hit record, then record the process of finding out and searching. sometimes there are gold samples in this takes.

A: we feel good there, thats the most important thing. i can borrow the full range of musical Equipment, High End Mics or different Instruments upon your wishes.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most common types in the past were recording basslines for hiphop Beats and Studiojobs for Metal Productions
