Interview with ThatCelloGuy

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I recently played cello on the Lion King (2019) Soundtrack for Hans Zimmer. It was a life-changing experience to be able to play for the likes of someone as renowned as Hans.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Jason Meekins! He's an EXCELLENT drummer who can always produce great work!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both Analog and Digital have there purposes. I love both!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To be professional, dependable, and to deliver high (professional) quality service to all clients.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being able to provide clients with a product that enhances their projects. There's not greater feeling than adding something valuable to someone else's work.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I currently use a UA Apollo 8 Quad, and have an assortment of top microphones in my recording studio. I can work in ProTools 11 HD and Logic Pro X.

A: Remote Cello Sessions, String Arrangements, String Sample Replacement (with real strings), Vocals, Vocal Tuning, Vocal Comping.
