Have you been in that situation where a producer isn't willing to understand your point of view as a writer or singer? Well a song is literally a marriage, the Singer/writer & Producer must be in love with it, great enough communication to enjoy the ride knowing what each individual is good for & let him/her be. Need hot / catchy ideas? =)
Angel, also known as DJ / Music Producer & Sound Engineer. Born in Caracas Venezuela. Italian / French heritage. Started studying and playing music before he even started elementary school. He has produced music for many other artists and genres such as Electronic Music, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Latin Genres, & more...
Everything started at an early age where i was learning how to play many instruments in a country that was literally the port of arrival and to spread the music in the whole south American continent which made me love all genres.
As a musician then i started to perform playing guitar for a reggae band, then DJing at parties, then drums in a salsa band, until people started asking me for advice on how to compose that extra punch their music needed to be catchy or to be able to fully express what their band or track wanted.
I started being very successful at it as a hobby on my early 20s. That's when all started.

Was an absolute pleasure working with Angel! He's an incredibly talented producer, and just as nice a person! Couldn't have asked for a better workflow/communication, and I also couldn't have been more inspired by his amazing track I got to write/sing over. Would recommend 10/10 for well-produced instrumentals and an overall wonderful collaborative experience. Can't wait to work on more great projects together going forward!!

Angel is a very talented producer— He came to me with a very complex East Asian-inspired EDM dance track to write and sing Topline for, and was *so* encouraging throughout the whole process. He was even extremely understanding during Thanxgiving weekend when I had to push a deadline back by a couple days! I highly recommend working with him and can’t wait to collaborate with him again!

Most encouraging and kindest producer I've worked with. His music was incredibly easy for me to work with and the ideas flooded in. THat's what you get when someone has talent. Definitely recommend working with Angel. Lots of talent here!
If you are tired of working with bossy pissy producers that don't listen to you, then reach out to this dude. I've been working with this cat for quite sometime. truly one heck of an artist as well as producer and sound engineer (and possibly one of the best listeners lol). He has helped me with tons of my tracks to fine tune my style. Ive seen him grow from playing in his own rock bands, solo artist, now one damn good producer and future EDM artist. Look him on Spotify and all platforms if you got your doubts. He is chill AF but be sure to bring him some coffee, otherwise he won't be AS chill
Angel is not just skilled but a very talented full on Musician! This guy can grab the guitar and come up w the greatest melodies you can imagine. He's a professional instrumentalist and the producer any performer would like to have when it comes to understanding their music. His EDM and Latin Music background bring a great mix to nowadays TOP 40 and his professional music background just assembles the best producer I've ever worked with!
Let me also say, it's great to have someone so professional be open to your input no matter how inexperienced you might think you are :)I've collaborated with Angel on multiple media projects. He's a light-hearted personality with a constant professional presence.
His ear is finely trained and his timing and guitar skills really shine in or outside of a sound stage. If you're blessed to have an opportunity to work with Angel it will surely be a worthwhile endeavor.
I have been working with Angel for a decade! He is an amazing producer.... & human being. He is very versatile & always willing to accept any musical challenge. He delivers top notch quality work as an engineer and producer in a timely fashion. Working with Angel continues to be a delight & never a disappointment with his services.
Interview with Angel Parilli
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I can't really say the name but when i had no experienced at all legal wise in the music industry a label stole my tracks out of a meeting i had with them trying to put myself out there and those 3 tracks ended up being part of 3 different artists who actually reached excellent ranking in the billboards in US and over seas. That label was way powerful so i didn't pursuit a fight, I just knew i had to do this better advised since the talent has always being there
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am putting together a whole library of ethnic sounds as separated libraries by continent for me to use them on certain house music remixes that i would like to release for different demographics. I'm a nerd
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I don't know anyone here i just signed in
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like how analog bring this depth, warm, to the tracks, I like digital because there are more options and faster results. I constantly use digital sounds but most of the time since i'm a musician & a sound engineer i understand about acoustics and i tweak my digital sounds to fake as close as possible the analog sound. Love doing that
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: This track must be you business card, we both need to make sure this song is fully you! upgraded! Catchy! and with quality!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love that is all about music and meeting new people
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: A lot them ask: How fast can this be done? I respond: Well I work fast with quality. Mostly what would delay accomplishing the final product is based on who I'm working with. But from my side you won't have delays
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I also do DJ gigs, and sometimes people think that because you just hit play and keep hyping up the crowd I'm not a musician at all. In order to keep people hyped for hours playing your own tracks takes some skill at the time of composition and production. It ain't just hit Play & Rum. I understand the why behind the critique since many DJs aren't musicians, but still it's a bit hurtful
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: 1. What issues you experienced in the past working with other producers you would like to prevent from happening again? 2. Can i listen to prior project of yours? 3. Send me tracks similar to what you want? 4. What are your favorite 10 songs of the genre you want to work on? 5. What's your targeted demographics? not only age but also countries?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you like the person, and if you don't make sure his music is from mars
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Speakers, Laptop, MIDI controller, cable box, solar generator
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Well I've been playing instruments since i was 6 years old, music production I've been doing it since 2006, and professionally for the past 5 to 7 years, i had other projects in my life going on so I never really pursued it as a business. Now i really got very good at it and after helping and composing for many others they actually encouraged me to do it as my business since i love music and many love the music i make
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Not sure how describe it. I adapt very easy to any project, but let see... i can say it's pretty danceable and fun. lol
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Wow. Many, but if i have to say Kaskade & Daddy Yankee
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Have fun with it, it's music!!!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic Music and Latin including Reggaeton
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm a people's person. I make friends very easy, I'm like that golden retriever in the bar who makes friend with everything that moves hahaha. That helps me a lot when the time comes to organically make good music with some one i just met. I'm also music educated, which is easy for me to know which key you are on, some singers sing amazingly and some bad producer told them in the past the sing better on F# but they don't know they are better singing on G. All those details can make every second of the session be fully invested and not waste it
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My main goal is to be able to fully be on the writers shoes, or singer, and completely manifest on the track what he/she is feeling, dreaming about, etc without compromising the quality of the track. "NOT compromising the quality of the track" is very very very important because many times happens who I'm working with want a specific sound to shine but there are only certain decibels you can add to it without over powering some other important sounds of the track. That's an on going discussion with many artists, that's also why i like to get to know them first so they know what to expect and for them to understand its a 50% 50%, it's a marriage. The higher high hills you ask your girlfriend to wear the bigger risk she's gonna twist her ankle. Just saying lol
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Well, I normally like to hangout with the artists or writers prior to recording or producing, It's like kissing someone, I mean... i need to like you so going to bed will be more fun, right? or am i weird? lol. I like to know about what they experienced in life, struggles, happy moments, do they dance?, what successful action they've done in the pass that i can enhance and upgrade on the new track, what sound or elements on someone else's live performance would amazed them?, etc. I like doing that so when the time comes to work it's actually fun and organic. When it's fun that will actually physically and spiritually impact on others when they listen to the song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I've normally work the tracks at my studio, but if I'm part of the production for vocals i prefer to do that in a studio strictly for that purpose. My studio Set Up is pretty simple. I don't like to have much equipment i'm only going to use once every 6 month. I love working with Logic & Cubebase, sometimes i do Protools or Ableton depending of the track needs or if it was giving to me as those softwares files. Got my midi controllers, pioneer dj set up. about 13 guitars, COFFEE MACHINE of course lol. Tons of sounds even though i love to customize most of my sounds
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I really like when producers do their best to integrate analog sounds or live instruments within Electronic Music. I love that since I play several real instruments. I listen to a lot music since I've known where the Play button is. Bob Marley, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, Kaskade, Tiesto, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, many Hip Hop Artists, Salsa, Reggae, Guns N' Roses. I mean i just can't stop. Love it all
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I make a lot of danceable music beside other genres i'm good at it too. But lately has been House, EDM & Reggaeton, and also i make great coffee during my sessions lol. Trust.. it's a plus
