Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Send your music and don’t be afraid to ask any questions
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started mixing and mastering local hip-hop projects in France in 1997. I recorded 3 albums released worldwide.and toured with my band from 1993 to 1997. In 2001 I moved to London Uk and started to work in post production and mastering studios in soho where I worked for labels like Ninja Tune, Big Dada, Hydrogen Jukebox, Jungle records… I set up The Airlab in 2007.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with artists like Foals, James Collier
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Use busses for mixing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I will listen to the song and review the mix. I will discuss with he artist/producer about their goals I will master the song. The artist will give me a feedback and I will fine tune anything that needs fine tuning.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The most important part of my studio is my monitoring setup. I am using PMC MB2 midfield monitors with a Bryson amp as well as Avantanoe CL10 midfield in a jig treated room. I have classic high end mastering eqs and compressors (Sontec, Manley, Chandler, Avalon, dangerous Music, Thermionic Culture, Maselec, Elysia…)..
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by mixing engineers like chad Blake, CLA, bob ludwig to name a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am a mastering and mixing engineer with over 20 years of experience. I will enhance any production that comes my way.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I like to work with all types from electronic to jazz through pop, hip hop, world and country. I love every genre if it sounds incredible.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: punch and crispness
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A very clear and solid warm and punchy sound with a 3D feel.
