Lukas crushed it!!! Communication was on point and of course the quality is incredible. Love his work. He's below the average cost of a Mastering Engineer but blew all of the competitors and more expensive engineers out of the water.
Definitely will use his knowledge and skill again in the future!!
Interview with Lukas Wehrle
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: 100% dedication 100% satisfaction
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: A: I love meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've started working on EDM Music approximately 8 years ago, won a Song competition from Sony Music in 2015, won one of 9 scholarship for the SAE as Audio Engineer, Graduated as class best in 2018, and got signed to Sony Music in 2019.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Probably Charlie Puth. He's a genius in producing and songwriting!!!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Keep things simple. Do not overuse compressors or crazy effects you don't know anything about. It's about choosing the right sounds, gain staging and a bit of EQ!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most of the time it's EDM, Future Bass, but also a lot of R&B and Pop Music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: To work quick, simple, and finalize a song within the tiniest details. It's all about simplicity with the spicy details!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Experience and Knowledge. I don't think you need the best outboard gear or set of monitors. It's about having the right set of ears to make crucial judgments.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work within a hybrid analog/in the box setup. I use a wide range of plugins but I do like to keep things simple and use those that I know will get me the results I want, quickly. I have an acoustically treated room with KRK monitors and Sennheiser HD650. My analago/digital outboard gear is for Mixing & Mastering - Softube Console 1.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do for my clients are Mastering jobs. I get a finished Mix track and finalize it perfectly for any streaming plattform.
