Mainly focussing on cinematic, ambient, chill, electronic music. Most of my tracks are instrumental, however every track has a certain theme and story it wants to tell. My tracks are often a combination between synthesizer sounds and traditional piano sounds.
If you need music for a documentary-like movie then do not hesitate in contacting me. I always try to incorporate those sounds that fit the best for your idea into my music track.
The mood may range from melancholic and soft to dramatic and epic.
You only need to give me a story idea and I will with your recommandations reach the goal of a perfectly balanced music piece.
I will be honoured if you will consider my offer!

Interview with Lake of the Lion
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on my next album "Crystal Palace". It will be published in all retailer stores as my previous albums and EPs.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog and digital instruments have each a certain charme. Some sounds will still only be an imitation from other sounds. The original sounds are always the best. Therefore avoid imitating analog sounds with digital sound and vice versa.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I am honoured to work with any sincere musician. My desire is music itself. If I get to do a collaboration then I will listen to the ideas of my partner and try to implement them into our combined work.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If you overthink too much, then the pure essence of the first emotion will be forgotten.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My sound world designs. For every album or EP I go for a certain theme, a specific sound texture that represents the theme.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: It all starts with a simple idea and while composing it develops, evolves, grows into a fully mature music piece. I always want to portray a certain story with a suitable mood.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: One evening = One music piece.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is quite small, yet it has everything I need. I work with the FL Studio 12 DAW, I use my Behringer Deepmind 12 as midi controller and as sound source itself. The rest are modulation processed audio samples I use in my music tracks.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Sometimes simplicity is the key to a great music track. Musician in that regard who inspire me are Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Reinhardt Buhr, Karl Thesing, Joep Beving, Alfonso Peduto, Yann Tiersen, Hans Zimmer, Ramin Djawadi to name a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Music can serve as a therapy and definitely is a common language felt around the world. If you have the ability to create new sound worlds where people are fascinated while listening to it then that is a great achievement for any musician. Therefore I want my clients to feel happy while listening to my cinematic music pieces.
