Simple is good.
This easy yet complex mind-set is important throughout every aspect of music.
-The simpler a songs melody, the better the catch
-The easier the words, the more memorable the Hook
-The more differentiated the arrangement, the cleaner the mix
-The spacier the mix, the louder the mastering.
This credo is guiding me like a mantra through every stage and each song I work on.
I am specialized for ELECTRONIC productions BTW.
But I love doing great sounding Hip Hop and Pop, or Cross-Genres with Electronic productions as well
All genres and styles share these key elements of Beauty and Quality in their own way.
I thrive to achieve them in each production in its best form and highlight what makes the production special.
I offer you the solutions for a solid foundation of your song, checking every detail from scratch and bring your song to its ideal shape. Regarding melody, arrangement, sound up until to the very mixing and, or mastering.

Interview with BABA Sounds
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Building my alias BABA Sounds as the address for unique sounds and very good productions for customers internationally.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will do your songs sounding better then mine :) there is a saying in turkish: a tailor can't fix it's own trousers hole. Meaning a good tailor will work for the customers interest first before chasing it's own interest and needs.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Most of my clients think if its mastered it will sound better, but the truth is: if something is not sounding good enough in the mix, mastering it won't fix it.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be curious about how much he focuses on your style and your song. Is he asking you questions to understand your music, or rather superficial things like how would you like your song to sound like (another artist) I think you should go for an engineer that wants to profile your sound and your identity and not just copy paste like work concerning the "sound like this" approaches.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm doing music since 27 years, started by playing instruments and singing, I was on stage for 20 years now and was in the finals for a song writing contest in Subotica, the pendant event to Eurovision songcontetst: OMLADINA. There I was the first competitor in finals representing TURKEY, since 1970's. After that I worked in a lot of good Studios in MUnich mainly, then I decided to study sound engineering and to build my own studio. Now I've been producing for over 10 years professionally.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio set up is most up to date, concerning producing in the box only with high end plugins. I have a very good treated room, walls and additional sections were optimized with only one purpose. best possible sound and accuracy for music production , mixing and mastering. I got a Neumann - system KH310 and two pair of Adams, next to other sources like mono speakers for monitoring.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Producin, mixing & mastering
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: there are a lot of engineers on Soundbetter I came across different platforms like youtube, and found them here again. I can recommend every engineer who is truly interested in working with you and helping you honestly.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital it is future proof and frightening how close the digital versions of analog equipment come to the original analog ones. also the analog ones get old and used by time, not sounding as good as they did back in time... whilst the digital will sound even better with every update.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The variety of people and cultures I met, and to learn something new about music and my profession every single day.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: If they can send me their most favorite songs and tell me their story about how they evolved as a musician until today, so I can understand who they are in a musical way and help find the right path of sound for the next steps.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: my guitar, my oud, my UAD. my speakers and my bouncing wheeled chair for a healthy back :D
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Contemporary and new, something you did'nt heard before.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Dua Lipa, besides that she is hot I really love the strong and unique timber in her voice and expressions.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If something sounds good let it be good, do not turn on knobs just to have been done something as an engineer.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I love cross genre productions, therefor I loce to produce future oriented new subgenres and the synergy of several, like Hip Hop & pop, Trill mixed with film scores, EDM and oriental classical music, the list goes on. :)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creativity. I believe that art in every way has a channel to express itself wether its by painting or making music or designing sounds. The expression is the process and creativity is the guide. I trained myself with utterly to build strong creative concepts helping me and the artists I'm working with to reach beyond their goals.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Not only crystal clear sound design but also support in arrangement and song writing, since I am a Songwriter for 20 years now myself.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Since I am prettty much influenced from the german culture I am working very accurate and with discipline
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love to explore and find out about mixing engineer gems who develop new approoaches and uncommon techniques, this helps me think and stay always out of the box.
