I find mastering to be, above all, a visceral experience. It's about where it feels, how it feels, and how that enhances the experience of a song or album.
Originally from New York City, Michelle Mancini (Demifugue Mastering) has been a resident mastering engineer at Larrabee Studios since September 2015. Prior to working as a mastering assistant for 7 years in New York City, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music, where she dual majored in Electronic Production/Design and Music Production/Engineering.
