Cuatro, Singer, Songwriter

Won a scholarship from the music company of Trinidad and Tobago for an original song that I wrote in Spanish and Performed with the Cuatro that my mother insisted I learn.

Dillano Rapsey aka Noche Blanca is a singer-songwriter-musician-performer who radiates such passion and flare in his music that he has created his own distinctive sound. His musical style is often described as a parang-sokah fusion with a mix of rap, rock ‘n’ roll, and soulful, Spanish beats.

A Trinidadian native, Dillano was first introduced to the cuatro at age nine by a Venezuelan mentor who challenged him both musically and personally. Dillano’s mentor sparked a curiosity in him to find his own truth, ultimately setting him on the path to becoming Noche Blanca. He became inspired to make music his language of choice. His lyrics encourage empowerment, but he also smartly infuses his witty sense of humour into his art, creating a story within his songs.

Noche Blanca’s energy is palpable. You cannot help but be moved to your feet during his shows. His intuitive grasp of the cuatro, and his fiery vocals make his performances a real theatrical experience.
