Hi we're Oribu! We're professional Mixing & Mastering Engineers and Music Producers. We're a Sound Desginer and Mixing Engineer ("Santa Cecilia" conservatory, Rome) and a Jazz Bass player ("Saint Louis" college, Rome). We started producing, mixing and mastering, first as Lofi Hip Hop project, then to Nu Soul, Indie Pop and Electronic.
Oribu is an electronic duo based in Rome, Italy, from the idea of two producers, Paolo Donato and Edoardo Staffa.
It was born as an hip hop lo-fi project and then evolved into a more intimate and personal electronics that combines music with 3d visuals and motion graphics. The first self-produced works attracted the attention of playlists such as "Jazz Vibes", "Chill Instrumental Beats", "BEATstrumentals" which led to the collaboration with several foreign labels such as "College Music" and "United Common Records". Spotify also dedicated an official “This is Oribu” playlist to him.
