Q: What do you bring to a song?

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Lead and backing vocals, vocal coaching, songwriting/ top line writing/ lyrics.

A: iMac, prefer working in Logic, sketch ideas in GarageBand Monitors: Yamaha HS50M Microphones: Neumann TLM49, Shure Beta 87A, Shure Beta 58, Shure 57 SE RF-X shield Sigma Ac./ El. guitar Fender Precision bass
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depending on the project I'd do different things, but I'd start with getting as much info from the client - what it is they're after, in terms of sound and mood. Then I'd do a couple of versions, and we'll take it from there.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Record well. Do not rely on "someone" being able to "fix" stuff in the mix ;)
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: John Mayer - love his songwriting, and arrangement ideas, would love to write and tour with him Sheryl Crow - same as above Emali Sande - great songwriter and singer, I think we could write some great songs together
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Contemporary storytelling with great melodies, where vocals are central and production feels natural.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Give me as much info about how you imagine your song. Please, be as specific as you can!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: As a songwriter - Who is the song for? Fem/ Male singer? Range? Age? Vocal sample? What kind of image are we pursuing? Preferred styles/ topics? As a vocalist - mood/ emotion that you'd like to convey?
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to work on variety of musical projects and have met some really cool people through my job :)

A: I will do my best within your deadline!
