I'm Davide Cipollini, an Italy/Spain based Guitar Player and songwriter. I'm a touring musician, Session guitarist and songwriter with Italian artist Francesco Gabbani.

I have been making music now for over 15 years, It started out as a passion for playing guitar and writing songs and has turned into me being a full-time musician. I specialize in a number of different things, mainly:

- songwriting, especially coming up with catchy melodies (I really like Damon Albarn style)
- indie rock, pop rock, Punk Rock, pop, electro pop production/arrangement for singer/songwriters,
- vocal and instrument tuning, editing
- I specialize in using Logic Pro X

I can work with you no matter your location, and speak English, Italian (native) and Spanish (native)
As I said I play the guitar and keyboards too and I could add nice parts to your track if you think it needs it.

Interview with Cipo

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm recording guitar parts for an upcoming Italian album.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I have to say that I love analog especially playing live, I tried stuff like Kemper and other things, they are terrific but plugging into your own ampli and playing it loud and dirt is always a great feeling. Often when recording, digital is very useful and reliable.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Every time you do something different, there are no limits for your creativity.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Easy, 5 guitars!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been playing the guitar since I was 12. Now I'm 31 and since 2016 playing and recording is my full time job.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Openminded with a rock attitude
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would have liked to work with The Clash, because they could record and play every type of music expressing the same punk attitude.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Songwriting, especially coming up with catchy melodies or guitar/keyboard/bass parts to add to your songs to make them sound just as you want it.
