I am a triple platinum engineer for my work on Goldlink's "Crew" , I am known for my warm approach to mixing records, I'm big into textures and combining the old with he new. I've been nominated twice for a Grammy.
Starting out of Washington DC, Javon Gant-Graham is a mixing/recording engineer and vocal produce. His career began in 2014 when Javon became an intern/studio assistant at Cue Recording Studios. He caught his break when he was asked to assist in a recording session with Sheryl Crow and Roger Waters. From there, he worked his way up and transitioned to a main engineer position in 2015 and would later meet the emerging DMV rapper Goldlink. The two developed a chemistry that allowed them to record Goldlink's major label debut album titled At What Cost; Javon also contributed to the composition as well as various aspects of the vocal production for this specific project. Javon's work on the lead single of Goldlink's album, "Crew", would merited a Grammy nomination for "Best Rap/Sung Collaboration" in 2017.
Since then, Javon has worked with established musicians like André 3000, Christina Aguilera, Camila Cabello, Sabrina Claudio, Justine Skye, Cyhi Da Prince, Wale, and many more. He has also managed to collaborate with critically acclaimed indie acts such as DMV's own April + Vista and Saba Abraha. His work has been featured on publications such as Complex, Billboard, DJBooth, FADER, XXL, NPR, and The Washington Post. Javon has striven to challenge himself and is constantly pursuing to create with artists who continue to push music forward.
