I've spent over 20 years writing, producing & releasing music, both as a solo artist & as a founding member of Texas-based folk/rock band Caedmon's Call.

Man, I love music. It's all I've done since I was single-digits and the only job I've had in my adult life. I'm grateful everyday that I get to do it. While I spend most of my time recording & touring my own music, I love bringing quick & fresh perspective to other artists' work.

I'm a strong writer, a creative arranger, and a good collaborator.

Primarily a singer, songwriter & guitar player, I have a strong sense of melody for top line work, am a pretty quick lyricist, love remixing & beatmaking, playing bass & keys (especially layers of counter-melody), and detail editing (like vocal comping & light/natural tuning).

I especially love throwing avant-garde elements into a track, finding surprising melodies & emotions through a little experimentation. Sometimes the best thing is a little random perspective that might open a song up to some unexpected energy.

I work out of my own home studio and have a decent variety of instruments & samples for almost any sound. From folk to rock'n'roll to kids' music to electronic weirdness to church hymns, I just love working on music.
