Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: One project I am especially proud of started as a rough idea with only references and a basic direction. We developed the full track from scratch: groove, drums, bassline, sound design, arrangement, transitions, mixdown and final polish. The result became a release-ready underground track with a clear identity. My role was full ghost producer and creative producer.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: At the moment, we are working on private ghost production and co-production projects for Afro House, Indie Dance, Dark Disco and Melodic House & Techno artists. We are also developing new underground sound design tools, Ableton templates and production systems to keep improving our workflow and final sound.

A: It depends on the project. For vocals, live instruments or very specific services, I always recommend choosing a specialist with strong reviews, great communication and a portfolio that fits the exact sound the client needs. A: Both. Digital gives us speed, flexibility and precision during production, sound design, editing and arrangement. Analog gives extra depth, movement and character during the final polish. Our workflow is hybrid because the goal is not to choose one side. The goal is to make the track sound professional, emotional and ready for release.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: Our promise is to treat every project with confidentiality, taste and professional attention to detail. We will not deliver generic templates or random productions. Every track is built around the client’s references, artistic direction and release goal, with a focus on identity, quality and release-ready sound.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The best part is turning an idea into something that feels real, professional and ready to release. Many artists have good taste and strong references, but they need help translating that vision into a finished track. Helping them reach that level is the most rewarding part of the process.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: The most common question is: “Will I own the track?” The answer is yes. Depending on the package, we can provide full ownership transfer, stems, WAV master, unmastered version, MIDI files, Ableton project file and NDA. Everything is private and confidential.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: The biggest misconception is that ghost production is just making a track quickly in someone else’s style. A serious ghost production process is much deeper. It is about understanding the artist’s direction, references, sound identity, arrangement, emotion and release goal, then building a professional track around that vision.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I usually ask for reference tracks, target labels, mood, energy level, preferred artists, deadline and how finished the idea already is. I also ask if the client needs full ghost production, co-production, post-production, remix, mixdown or mastering. Clear direction from the beginning creates a much better final result.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Do not hire only based on price. Hire based on taste, communication and whether the producer truly understands your sound. In underground electronic music, details are everything. The wrong producer can make a track sound generic. The right producer can help you build something with identity, depth and professional quality.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Laptop with Ableton Live, professional headphones, a compact audio interface, Serum and a strong sample library. If I could add studio hardware, I would take SSL Fusion, Manley Vari-Mu and Tegeler EQP-1 for final analog color and polish.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: We have been working in electronic music for more than 10 years, producing tracks for artists, DJs and labels around the world. Lian Productions has worked on 350+ tracks and has experience with Beatport Top 100 results and multiple Beatport Top 20 entries. Over the years, our focus became more specific: private ghost production, co-production and post-production for underground electronic artists.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Underground, organic and cinematic electronic music with strong groove, deep low-end, emotional tension, detailed percussion and a release-ready sound. The focus is always on identity: music that feels deep, professional and club-ready without sounding generic.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with artists such as Dixon, Âme, Trikk, Jimi Jules or Maceo Plex because they understand music as identity, not just as sound. Their productions have depth, tension, emotion and a strong artistic world around them. That is the type of direction that inspires our work at Lian Productions.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Do not rush the arrangement. In underground electronic music, tension is everything. A track does not need to be overloaded. The right groove, subtle movement, percussion details, automation, space and emotional direction can create much more impact than adding too many elements.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: We mainly work on underground electronic music: Afro House, Indie Dance, Dark Disco, Melodic House and Melodic Techno. Our sound is organic, deep, hypnotic and cinematic, inspired by the underground identity of labels such as Innervisions, Siamese, TAU, Radikon, Maccabi House, Diynamic and Keinemusik.

A: We bring structure, identity and professional execution. Our strongest skill is turning a rough idea into a complete professional track. We focus on groove, low-end, arrangement, transitions, sound selection and emotional tension. In underground electronic music, the details matter: percussion movement, depth, space, texture and how the track evolves over time.

A: First, we ask for references, demos or a clear artistic direction. Then we define the best approach: full ghost production, co-production, post-production, remix or mix/master. Once the direction is clear, we build the track around the client’s identity and release goal. Depending on the package, delivery can include WAV master, unmastered version, stems, MIDI, Ableton project file, NDA and ownership transfer.

A: We are inspired by the sound and identity of underground electronic artists and labels such as Dixon, Âme, Trikk, Jimi Jules, Maceo Plex, Innervisions, Siamese, TAU, Radikon, Maccabi House, Diynamic and Keinemusik. These names are only stylistic references. Our goal is always to create something custom and original for each artist.
