Diego Paredes is a musician, producer, bass player and arranger. As a producer he develops projects that involve different music genres such as jazz, pop, rock, latin, electronic music, among others. Diego has arranged and produced songs that have reached number one spots in Venezuela´s radio charts.
His first solo album entitled "Después de Ayer" was nominated as Album Of The Year in the Jazz category at the Pepsi Music Awards 2016. He was also nominated as "Artist of the Year" in these awards and his tune titled "Nunca Digas Siempre" was nominated to "Song of the Year" category Jazz.
Diego Paredes is also musical director and bass player of the Latin Grammy nominee Manu Manzo.
In 2017, Diego Paredes joins drummer extraordinare Adolfo Herrera in an innovative duo project called DiElfo which launched it's album entitled "DiElfo".
In 2015 wins the Pepsi Music Award as Best Sound Engineer for the album of the Movida Acústica Urbana Rock and MAU 2.
In 2012 he participated in the production of the song "Casta Diva" with the singer and actress Mariaca Semprum for the film "Azul y no tan Rosa" which was acclaimed and accumulated awards in the most important Film Awards worldwide. Winner of the Goya Award "Best Ibero-American Film" with Director Miguel Ferrari.
