My studio environment is constantly evolving. As technology evolves, so does my workflow. I strive for the perfect synergy of efficiency and creativity with a hybrid setup that revolves around high-end monitoring, a well-built and acoustically accurate listening environment, a pristine digital signal path, comprehensive knowledge of multiple DAWS, and plugins, and a few choice analog processors at the end of the chain.
As important as the gear and the technical know-how is, I feel my most valuable assets are my creative instinct, and my ears, honed from years of hands-on doing, creating, and listening.
To have the confidence to take risks and the restraint to know when a record is finished is always the goal.
