Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will treat your project like its meaningful and important. because it is.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That the entire song populates in your brain at one time after hearing the music for 30 seconds lol
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What feeling do you want to convey? Tell me your story? What is the mood of this project?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be specific, be honest and be vulnerable. I love to put honest emotion into my work. I call myself an emotional translator :) To make your dreams come to life, I need to feel like I've gotten to know you.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: iPhone and a great pair of wired headphones. I can live on less! It's getting easier and easier to record greatness on that little device!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I grew up in a very musical family. The talent for my childhood beauty pageants was: Singing. I had my first performance at 4 years old! Somehow I thought I would be a lawyer but I'm using my voice in other ways these days.

A: Personally: Dark, Futuristic Rnb For my clients: Anything from RnB to Rock to Country

A: Beyonce, Hands Down. Her work ethic and expectation for excellence is unmatched.

A: RnB, Gospel, Hip Hop, Pop

A: Melodies!! I will find the pocket and make it pretty

A: A bit of tradition and a bit of uncharted territory. I love merging elements of different genres to create and unexpected sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: 1. Listen to production (if provided) 2. Do a raw first impression take to map out melodies and get a feel for what imagery comes to mind or (use elements of my client's suggestions.) 3. Review first take and find parts that have obvious stand out verse/pre/chorus etc melodies/lyrics 4. Tell the story 5. Review lyrics to make sure the melody flows and the story is told.

A: It's Really Simple: MacBook, Logic Pro X, Interface, MXL mic and Kaotica Eyeball

A: Dawn Richard- I think her approach to music is so raw and fearless James Fauntleroy- He is the King of melodies and he take music to another level Jazmine Sullivan- A vocal powerhouse that wields expert control over her voice
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Top lining- I create inventive melodies and lyrics that hug the music! Vocal production- I take an existing song and rework the melody, resulting in a catchy captivating song. Songwriting- I take an idea or existing song and re work the lyrics and melodies for a stellar outcome.
