Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. They are both are great tools. That being said the exception is tape its a romantic idea but, it doesn't fit how 99% of people work in this day in age.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Not having a job but, seriously the People. I've been lucky to work with and get to know some really incredible people one the years.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Trust your instincts and don't just settle for ok or good enough.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of many places but, Have a great home studio setup. Pro Tools HD rig, it hybrid so I use a bunch of great outboard which I love. Probably most important though is a great monitor setup which I'm very comfortable with
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The Beatles, Radiohead, I'm a big fan of Daniel Lanois both as a producer and as artist. The most inspiring people though are the ones in the room that you're working with.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing is my focus these days but, love tracking sessions. I've also work(ed) extensively in Live sound.
