Music production, mixing and composition with a personal approach. Tell me about your project!
If your ideas are in need of production, composition, arrangement, mixing, re-working, or all of the above - hit me up. I am versatile and I want to use my skills to make your ideas happen.
I work in music production for advertisement and film, for companies with clients such as L'Oréal, Nissan, Toyota, ICBC, Nike, Wizzair... My work (for advertisement as well as for independent artists) spans many different styles. I specialise in genres like hip-hop, dance music, pop and R'n'B, but music today is innovating every day. I'm always excited to hear new sounds and styles!
For years, I've been a composer, a singer and a musician in my own time, which means I know what it's like to be on your side of things. Communication and trust are at the center of my values, and I like to keep a close contact throughout the process. I want to understand your project, connect with you and make something that we'll both be proud of.

Endorse GarfiveIt was such a pleasure to work with Garfive! I really enjoyed recording with him, it was a relaxed work atmosphere and it felt carefree right from the beginning. He is really professional, patient, responds to all requests and has a lot of creative ideas. I also really enjoyed the honest communication during the whole process. I'm really happy with the result and definitely want to work with him again! :-)
Garfive is your go-to producer if you value creativity, talent, and most importantly professionalism!
I have enjoyed every second of working on my latest project with Garfive. He manages to create such a comfortable, creative environment to allow reaching great potentials.
I can't recommend Garfive enough and will most definitely work with him again in the future.I have known and worked with Garfive for the past 2,5 years. We met in the Berlin music scene and became friends, after which we also began a professional relationship working on several projects together.
What strikes me the most about Garfive is his complete dedication too the music. He has an enthusiasm that is contagious and always listens carefully too what you want. A mastery of DAW's allows him to fluently transform every crazy idea I came up with in my head too actual sound.
If you look for someone that delivers a professional sound and honestly cares about your music, that's GarfiveAs someone with no musical theory background, I can honestly say it was such a good and easy experience to work with Telio Garfive. Everytime I wanted to suggest something for my song but couldn't find the right term (such as reverb, delay, vocoder..etc) he would just ask me to explain it with my own vocabulary, or show examples on Youtube: and it worked perfectly every single time !
He was also a huge help when I was working on vocal harmonies, add lips, or even the phrasing of my lyrics, he added his own creativity to my project without obstructing mine.
100% RecommendedGarfive has a great ear for groove and details, I have worked with him before and it was super easy to communicate, jam out ideas, and took it further and mixed the track beautifully! A friendship developed through the colaboration, so I can really recommend working with him for your project
Garfive produced some of my songs and made them sound amazing for my live set. His great mixture of production knowledge and musical intuition makes working with him not only satisfactory but also really fun. As a person he is reliable and always be open for feedback, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend!
Interview with Garfive
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Laura Lloreta, amazingly talented singer and vocal artist, fantastic to work with. Jelmer de Haan, extremely proficient session bassist, professional and fantastic to work with. Enrico Tiberi, incredible producer and person, fantastic to work with. LeProdude, gifted producer and artist, fantastic to work with.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Who do you want to listen to your music? What kind of emotions or message do you want to convey? What artists are you influenced by, or like the sound of?
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been recording and producing my own music for 8 years, and 4 years ago I decided to study a Bachelor's degree in Music Production and Sound Engineering here in Berlin. After that I started working producing for advertisement and film and recording/producing/mixing for artists.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more. Better to do only what's necessary and do it really well, than to do too much just because you can.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: As a solo artist myself, I bring creative ideas to develop your song further and get you and your audience excited about your music!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I discuss my client's idea with them to outline a goal, help them arrange and compose their song(s) if they require it. I then produce and mix the track to professional standards. This includes revisions and a regular back-and-forth, to ensure mutual understanding throughout the process, and to make sure my client feels in control of what they're getting.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work simply: Ableton and Logic, plugins from Waves, Izotope, Xfer, Valhalla, Soundtoys and Arturia, some MIDI keyboards and controllers, and Yamaha HS-7 speakers.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I help you get your song from the idea stage to a finished, professional-standard product. Usually I work in composing as well as producing and mixing.
