  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Any artists is unique! Any project is great! Most time I am Composer, some time - music producer & sound engineer...

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Soundtrack for old, 1954 year movie. Replace old tiny sound with new one.

  8. A: Analog + Digital !!! Together!!! Analog sound in mixing with modern Libraries = unique sound !!!

  10. A: Never do what I dislike.

  12. A: Meet New artists. Share my knowledge, experience and help people in his music carrier!

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: Grand Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Contrabass, Accordion, Sax

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: From school band in 1984. Professionally (play in events for money) since 1988.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: It's impossible! I just do what I feel ... It's business beside me.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Any artist, who can listen silence between sounds! :-)

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Starting arrangement with Harmony (pad, or piano, or guitar), Bass, Drums. Do not add any instruments until soundtrack became catchy and groovy !!! Must be sound great with basic Trio - Band!!! :-) Before start working, must hear final music in your Head! ... Be ready for changes and improvisation!

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Usually I working on somebody sketches, mostly Songs. & Helping to finalize music to Pro level.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Arrange musical sketch to final product according by client style. Compose and produce music on screenplay.

  33. Q: What's your typical work process?

  34. A: With solo artists (Vocalist) : I do basic soundtrack near style and tempo use. Then I record the Voice, clean it (Back noises, compression, tune up, e.t.c.). Delete old soundtrack, And start over with new impression, even sometimes with new harmony and style. Music and vocal must be together, like whole apple.

  35. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  36. A: My studio base on SONAR - Cakewalk software. I start working on first Cakewalk 3 in 1995, which was fits on diskette :-). So, thousand of works since 1995 I done on it. Of course I have base knowledge of ProTools, Logic, Cubase, but prefer create music on SONAR 9.5 . I can open my oldest works. Sometime it's very important. Also I love using various analog MIDI synthesizers. - Cakewalk great working with any external MIDI devices. Audio signals base on four linked RME ADI-8 QS . So I can recording 32 channels simultaneously.

  38. A: Michael Cretu, Laurent Boutonnat, Jean Michell Jarre, RPWL, Supertramp

  39. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  40. A: I work with songwriters helping them improve and finish their songs as well as making their songs sound more professional and more commercial.
