Singer-Songwriter-MC born on the Island of Mauritius and grown in North America Joyce DeVibe sings Soul, Blues and World Music in English, French and Creole. She began her singing career at the age of 16 as Lead Singer of a band which opened for "La compagnie creole". She joined "Menwar" on stage to perform at the 2008 "Festival International Nuits d'Afrique". In 2011, she was invited to share the stage with "Namori" at La Place des Arts in Montreal. In 2012 she created a Tribute to Cesaria Evora and was then invited to perform during the Opening Night of the 28th Edition of "Festival International du cinéma Vues d'Afrique" at the Imperial Theater. In March 2014, she writes and performs a unedited creole version of the song "Summertime" during a 30th Anniversary of Vues d’Afrique Gala Event. She recently autoproduced and launched her first EP "BREATH Unplugged" available on Bandcamp and she is now working on her first album project.
