ANDREU JACOB / When music becomes art
Andreu Jacob (Norway) : Is considered one of the foremost modern composers on the international scene. His interdisciplinary work crosses boundaries of fine art and live performance in collaborative settings and he is highly regarded as an accomplished composer working at the cutting edge of musical investigation and practice. Currently based in Norway, Andreu has performed in many countries across the globe; Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, USA, UK … He has participated in many international Jazz festivals, studio recordings, productions and post-productions and composed numerous soundtracks for films, documentaries and music for commercials. Andreu has also collaborated with and written music for a number of important visual artists such as Gottfried Helnwein, Serge Marshennikov, Peter Gric ... Ian Brodie and Thomas Dodd.
