Gregg Leonard on SoundBetter

A Los Angeles and Sydney Australia based producer, composer and mixing and recording engineer with both old school and contemporary skill sets who has numerous album, film and television credits.

I am a mixer/composer/record producer and sound designer with over 20 years experience working with wonderful artists from many different genres. A professional musician from the age of 16, I was able to bring that perspective and experience when I decided to focus on my love of the recording process an became a founder of Big Sky Recording, a premier full service recording studio in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area. Before relocating to Los Angeles 10 years ago, I had many years there honing my skills and a recordist/mixer and producer.
I enjoy working with artists to help them realize their vision and work to deliver mixes that can take their place sonically in todays crowded musical landscape.
While in Los Angeles working as a composer and sound designer, I have also maintained my love of mixing and have continued to make that part of my artistic life. Many songs I have mixed/engineered/produced have been placed and featured in film and television projects. In addition, I have worked with several publishing companies creating innovative remasters of classic songs from their catalogues.
