G has become one of the only mix engineer ears that we can trust and rely on for pro and efficient mixes. We have received mixes from some of the biggest names in the game and they don't compare to the attention in detail that G gives on our mixes.

He is not only a great mix engineer, he has a great ear for production as well. - Bad Rabbits

"G" was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional, punctual and knowledgable. I contracted him for mixing an artist I am currently managing. Overall, fantastic experience and amazing sound!

Interview with Giancarlo Lino

Which artist would you like to work with and why?
Daft Punk. I would love to work with them because their music makes you feel good. They don't allow the times or radio to dictate the content they put out.
Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
The project I'm most proud of is an album (TBA) that I mixed for a band out of Boston named Bad Rabbits. Its the first big project I worked on as a freelance mix engineer and I worked with an amazing group of guys that are good friends of mine to this day. Another huge plus from that project was that Teddy Riley was the producer of the album, so that whole experience was just great for me. I was the mix engineer for the whole album.
What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
I started at L.A.R.S. (Los Angeles Recording School) in 2007. I got an internship at Larrabee Sound Studios in North Hollywood a couple of months into school and a week after graduation in April of 2008, I became Jaycen Joshua's mix assistant engineer. I worked with Jaycen until May of 2010 and then became a freelance mixer.
What's your strongest skill?
My strongest skill would be mixing.
What's your typical work process?
I usually like to start early mornings to prep the files for mixing. Then I'll listen to the clients rough mix for 20-30 minutes and just vibe to it. After that I start mixing the drums if any, move to the music and by the end of the night I work on the vocals.
Can you share one music production tip?
Take your time in choosing the right sounds.
What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
Any music that makes you feel something, is always inspiring.
