2 Reviews - 1 Repeat ClientEndorse RICHARD JANSEN
Richard Jasen is one of the best producer, singer, song writer and artist I have ever knew. I enquire with him about my 6 demos which I wanted to do a RnB, hip hop, and trap style with each song having its own element and unique points. Firstly, he carefully listens to you goals and expectations; lead and guide you through the whole process swiftly. His response time was always under 30 minutes or instantly 24 hours around the clock. He was precise, efficient, detailed and passionate
Thank you ! Great experience !
Interview with RICHARD JANSEN
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Songwriting, Vocal Recording, Producing
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I will usually go through a brief discussion with my client with regards to the song topic, song style, also if possible, for the client to share some reference tracks or samples so i can get a better understanding of what the client wants.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: For vocal recording, i usually take some time to memorize the lyrics before recording, instead of reading off a mobile or sheet. I feel when this is done, the delivery seems to be way better.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is fusion of rapping and singing. I'm also always experimenting with different genres.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been a musician since i was 15. In 2015, i signed my first major record deal with Sony Music Entertainment for 2 years.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Songwriting, Rapping and Singing
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Joyner Lucas, Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Juice WRLD, Trey Songz
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: It depends on the record itself. It could either be a unique hook, which usually is the key section of the record.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Communication is key. I always spend time speaking or chatting with my client to lay out the exact plan and direction before i start working. That way, we're both on the same page and it makes it much easier for us to execute the project.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm a full time musician and recording artist.
