  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Two Daughters. My role is Dad!!

  6. A: Both. Music production requires being open to all possibilities.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: No matter the project size, budget, level, you get the very best of me I can give.

  10. A: This is a job?

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: Do I work for free? My answer is yes, but not for you!

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: I can make a bad performance great!

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: You have 3 choices for your project... Pick the 2 you want, and the 3rd will not happen. 1. Great 2. Fast 3. Cheap Pick the 2 you want, and the 3rd will not be.

  17. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  18. A: fishing rod, magnifying glass, GPS, sailboat, solar panels.

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: Started a band, wrote some songs, got a major label deal, took the money went to college, paid lots of dues then started writing and producing for artists, being a music director for world tours, composing for TV shows, consulting indies on projects. Still going after 30+ years.

  21. Q: How would you describe your style?

  22. A: Well, I grew up in Texas where the American crossroads of music intersect. I am used to working with one genre or working with hybrids genres. I've lived in Europe, Mexico, and toured the world making music for most of my career. My style is focusing on making a great production.

  24. A: All of the great ones! I'm an equal opportunity producer.

  26. A: Pop, Latin Pop, Pop/Rock, Singer-songwriter, EDM, Instrumental Acoustic and Electronic.

  28. A: Any creative who has persevered through the crazy music industy.

  30. A: Good is the enemy of great!

  32. A: Being me!

  34. A: I start at the end then work backward.

  36. A: I try to keep it simple and not allow gear to get in the way or be a crutch to creativity. Music production is about people, not gear.

  38. A: Strong ability to focus on the desired outcome of the project.
