Bassist (Upright & electric)

Hi, I'm a world-touring session musician with my own studio in Stroud. I play mostly double bass, bass guitar and guitar, but also am a drummer, pianist, singer and cellist. I've played tours & festivals around the world with leading Jazz and Folk artists like Seth Lakeman and worked with top producers in some of the finest studios across Europe.

Hi I'm Lukas Drinkwater, I work as a remote session double-bassist, electric bassist, guitarist and producer. You send me your song: I send you a recorded part either following exact instructions, or a midi recorded line you want duplicated on an acoustic instrument, or just leave me to my own devices, and I'll work out a part to suit your song.

I've been doing this for 15 years now professionally and have contributed to over 150 albums worldwide, as well as an array of soundtracks, TV ads, music for marketing campaigns and pieces for theatre. If you want additional takes recorded, we can discuss this and work out a plan. I'm easy going. I record using top equipment, and usually turnaround time is a couple of days if I'm not away on tour.
