DaLick Records on SoundBetter

Handcrafted Beats - Details makes the difference. My principal strength is the orchestral and cinematic arranging, making every beat an adventure to be lived, all the sounds that you don't hear, but you feel deep inside.

I'm a beatmaker and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I've worked with different music genres, from Rock and Metal to Trap and Hip Hop, I like doing a mix of different styles so if you give me references of the sound you're looking for we can make unique songs according to your needs.

We can work in different ways:
.-Making the beat for your next song
.-Mix the recording or even add some sounds to the track.
.-Producing entirely your musical piece

You will be involved in every step we make during the process, stay safe that you will have control of everything while working with me.
My strenght is the fusion between orchestral, cinematic and modern arranging on the beats

Please, feel free to contact me, I would like to hear from your project.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Dalicks style of composition gives the vocalist opportunity to experiment, due to the intricacy of his music, and in the creation process he is communicative so you can merge ideas. Looking forward to working with him again in the future.

Interview with DaLick Records

  1. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  2. A: Axe Follin, he's a great guy and musician

  3. Q: What's your typical work process?

  4. A: I tend to talk a lot with the clients to catch the vibe that they're looking for and, with that in mind, I make a couple demos so we can deicide which path to follow. Once we know where we're going, I begin to convert that simple demo to an full production covering every aspect and detail of the sound. While working I show the progress to the client so we can make any decision whenever we want

  5. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  6. A: Charlie Puth and Max Martin are my main inspiration as a producer Richie Kotzen, Scott Henderson and Michael Landau are my principal inspiration as a guitarist

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: I consider myself a good and versatile composer, with a natural strenght in the fusion between orchestral, cinematic and modern arranging for the beats

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I promise that we will both love the final product

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  12. A: Sidechaining... A lot of the vibe of a song is in the sidechaining compression

  13. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  14. A: I'm making beats and productions for local artists

  15. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  16. A: Flume and Charlie Puth are producers that I would like to work as a musician or even producing along with them

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: A juicy beat on which we can inspirate to create an unique song PD: And a good guitar solo if you need it

  19. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  20. A: Digital, cleaner and better

  21. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  22. A: Bringing out my own taste to the music I made

  23. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  24. A: My Ibanez AK95 and nothing more

  25. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  26. A: I've been producing my own music since I was 15 years old, it would be like 6 years now, and playing guitar more than 9 years now.

  27. Q: How would you describe your style?

  28. A: Groovie

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: I tend to work on Rock/Metal and Fusion music, lately I've been working on a lot of Trap, RAP and Hip Hop music, making beats and entire productions for different singers.

  31. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  32. A: Please, listen a lot of music and give me good references from different styles, or give me detail of the things you like from different songs so we can get the best of both worlds

  33. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  34. A: I record the guitar and bass through a Fractal AX8, simultaneously I record the DI track so I can use it in the future. The interface I use is a Audient ID14. I run Reaper as my main DAW in a Macbook Pro late 2015, but I have worked on Logic, Cubase without a problem even in Windows setups. I use a pair of Yamaha HS5 and AKG K240 MK II for mixing, and I test the mix in different kind of home speakers and headphones to be sure that the mix will sound pefect in every device

  35. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  36. A: I can produce different styles, so normally the clients give a reference for the style track and I make the beat or composition in that kind of genre, then I send while I'm working on it so we can change the couse of the production in the way they want.
