Musician, composer and producer Eric Rickey started his musical journey at a young age playing piano and guitar. He began his career traveling through the US, UK and Europe playing in bands (Rabid Young) and opening for acts such as The Killers, Atlas Genius and Ra Ra Riot, as well as playing festivals including Life is Beautiful. It was during this time he established a commercial recording facility in Las Vegas: Electric Animal Studios. Catering to local and national acts, commercial and corporate clients and the film community, it quickly became a go to spot for music production in Las Vegas.
With specialties in rock/pop songwriting and production, synthesizer musings and creative noise, scoring and composition for film/tv or just generally wilding out in the studio, Electric Animal has something creative and musical to offer everyone.
Currently residing in Sydney, Australia and collaborating with artists all over the world.
