I record my drum tracks at my own state-of-the art facility. The studio is acoustically treated and sounds great. My equipment consists of high-end preamps and microphones. I also offer full instrumental productions, remote mixing and mastering.

Interview with Stefano Marazzi
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I recently finished a tour with the rockstar Anastacia for the musical We Will Rock You. (Holland tour 2019/2020). Now I recorded and produced my first solo album "Electronic Leaves". Composed, played, mixed and mastered by me. Available in all the digital stores.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: the trend is now inclined towards digital and I believe it is right but only on condition that the equipment and software that you use are really of high quality
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My drum (of course), my UAD Apollo, my Mac, microphones and some friends :)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I play drums since I was 12 years old. My first approach to the "Daw" was about 25 years ago with a "black and white" version of Cubase. I felt in love with home recording systems.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: adaptable to the needs of the moment
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I worked in a really huge variety of styles: rock, jazz, progressive, bossa nova, latin, theater production, R&B, movies soundtracks, edm.... and I love all of them!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: ...Over 25 years of experience
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: - For the drum recordings: I listen to your project, you explain to me what you want, I record drums and I send back to you an mp3 to listen. Once you are satisfied I send you the separate tracks. - For mixing and mastering: we adopt the same procedure and when you are satisfied I send you the final files
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My own studio is the result of many years of experimentation. The materials I currently use and the knowledge I have made, make my work of the highest quality.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I like all people who strongly believe in what they do.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I take care of making their "rhythmic ideas" real...
