Alex Koch, is the mastermind behind Digital Dust Music, a Los Angeles music production company. He is a skilled multi-instrumentalist, session musician, record producer, audio engineer who loves to help artists achieve their goals and make the most out of their music!

SERVICES:

MIXING: Using a combination of Digital and Analog gear. I run all my mixes out to an Analog Summing Mixer which then hit a variety of analog compressors, eq's and tape emulators. I believe this process warms up the sound and not only helps make the sound larger and more dynamic but also has been a very useful tool to help guide me in my decision making throughout the mix process. Having a brief conversation before starting the mix helps me get to know what direction you would like to take the song in.

MASTERING: Also using a series of analog and digital equipment to achieve the desired sound you are looking for.

PRODUCTION: Whether building a song from scratch or adding production to a piece that just needs the sprinkles on top I can help you accomplish your vision.

SPECIALTY- I have been collecting various vintage synths, drum machines, acoustic instruments, and analog gear for sometime. Between my collection and my partner studio's collection we have a very wide array of sounds to choose from whether you want a real grand piano, a vintage 60's organ, or some scifi horror sounds from a Juno 60, we have you covered.
