I am a mix engineer from germany. I am mixing for about 7 years now. I'm looking forward to give your song the professional sound it deserves.

I'm offering you great mixes, which you will like. I also have a little experience in mastering. I can also sing background vocals, record guitars, bass and drums for your project if needed.
I'm not very genre specific but i prefer everything between pop, punk and rock.

I look forward to work on your project.

Ronny's productions are so well done, it's almost too easy to write songs for him! I'm having a lot of fun working on his project, and I'm very happy we found each other here... 🙏🏻Thank God for the producers who like to work with more than just four chords! 😅I look forward to more collaborations!!!

Interview with Small Village Studio

  1. Q: What's your typical work process?

  2. A: First of all i like to stay as organized as possible. This speeds up my workflow and keeps my head clear. As a client wants me to mix a song, i talk with him/her and try to get a feeling what kinda sound he/she wants. If i have a picture i listen to the demo/rough mix and write down everything i like or don't like. I then start mixing the song. At the end of the process i send the mix back to the client. If the client likes it, i'm happy. If theres something that's not right i jump back in and change it.

  3. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  4. A: -Electric Guitar -Acoustic Guitar -Microphone -Loopstation -If drums count as one, then drums. If not, i take a cajon. ;)

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I dived in to the music world with the age of 7 years. I learned to play the drums. I then started learning guitar, bass and a little bit of piano. I enjoyed to record myself and dived even deeper into the recording and mixing world with about 15-16 years. I now have a studio at my home and play drums in a band. So i do music nearly everyday

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Stay organized. Nothing bothers more than searching that cool plucked synth you recorded 2 hours ago and you lost it in between the other 200 tracks you have. Or you can't find the unfinished project from 2 month's ago cause you have no idea where you saved it. Find your structure and half the price of recording and producing your next song is paid. :)

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: I highly prefer the Rock, Pop, Punk direction. But i do like to work on anything else too.

  11. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  12. A: I bring dynamic and 'in your face' sounding quality to your song.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: I do all my mixes in the box. I always use the newest version of Cubase Pro and have a great collection of top notch plugins (Slate Digital, Waves, Softube, and many more). To give every mix the 'Analog Touch' that everybody loves, i sum all my tracks and send them trough my Pultecs by Warm Audio. They give the mix a solid weight.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: My mixing style is mostly inspired by Warren Huart (Produce Like A Pro).

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: I offer high quality mixes. Alongside mixing i also provide recording guitare, bass and vocals for your songs.
