Do you want to take your work to the next level? I'm a professional recording engineer, Pro Tools editor and mixer. I have years of experience working with some of the best musicians and producers in the business. Whether it be vocal tuning, drum editing or mixing, I will give you the professional touch you're looking for, at an affordable price.
VOCAL TUNING/TIMING
I have spent years fine tuning artists' performances. I have the tools and know how to edit and tune vocals in a natural and transparent fashion, that results in a stellar and powerful sounding vocal. This will take your track to the next level.
VOCAL COMPING
Don't know what to do with all those vocal takes? Send me all of your files and I will cut together the best vocal performance. Since this is an extremely subjective process, I have no problem doing as many revisions as required, until you're happy! This yields the best results when paired with vocal tuning/timing.
DRUM EDITING / SAMPLES
Drum replacement is not always as simple as throwing a Slate Trigger plugin on. I have a library of thousands of samples, as well as a collection of favourites I use all the time. Or if you have samples you like, I can use those as well. I will phase align all of the samples by hand to ensure your drums sound the best they can.
MIXING
I have mixed hundreds of songs across many different genres. I will work with you to bring your song to its full potential and provide you with a great mix that is also competitive in todays market. (This option includes all other editing options)
OTHER
I offer many other services from effects processing to midi editing and more. Feel free to ask me for anything - I'll do my best to accommodate.

I am a musician and music teacher. I´ve had lots of experiences recording records as a musician and had the pleasure to work with some great engineers. I produced my first record this year. Adam mixed and mastered the entire record. I can´t begin to explain what an awesome experience i had. He has a fine criteria for mixing and processing. He is extremely proficient in understanding one´s needs and directions. Besides he´s great ability he´s such a wonderful human being to work with. If u need your tracks to take the next step and make it a very smooth and happy experience, he´s your go to man
I'm from Argentina and I worked with Adam on my last two albums, one in person and the other from a distance. On both occasions Adam took my songs to the highest level. He is an excellent mixer, with very good taste, very patient and will always make the song sound as you need it. I blindly recommend Adam for your next production!
I've been working with Adam for years. Great and capable of any service you could possibly need: recording, mixing, editing, programming, etc... He goes above and beyond to ensure you're happy with what you're hearing!
Adam Fair is an excellent mixer and engineer and is my go-to guy for making records. His studio (Villa Sound) is an amazing space with tons of vibe and has literally everything you could want for making music. Adam's knowledge for sound and production goes deep and he is an efficient and easy guy to work with. I would highly recommend Adam for your next musical project.
Interview with Adam Fair
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I won't stop until it's great.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio occupies 2000 Sq Ft of an old general store / farm house build in 1842. We have a beautiful sounding live room here. I have recorded many bands and artists here. Some of my gear includes an SSL Matrix console, Barefoot MM27 monitors, Neve 1073's, API 512's, API 550b's, Alan Smart C2, Tree Audio Branches, SSL Channel strips, Burl and Aurora Converters and a Pro Tools HDX system.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The people, hands down. I have met and worked with so many amazing and talented people from all over the world, doing what I do. I consider myself to be very fortunate.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do a ton of recording at my studio, but the majority of the work I do on here is editing and mixing based. I've been doing this type of work for many years and enjoy it very much!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both... why not?
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First thing I do is have a discussion with the artist about what it is they're hoping to get out of me. I think communication is the most important part of what I do. Once I feel we are on the same page, I will get the work done to my satisfaction. When I'm happy I'll send it to the client and from that point on, anything we do will typically be very collaborative. I'm not happy if the artist isn't happy and I will do everything I can to make sure that happens.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Cutting corners costs more in the long run.
