Hello my name is Jesus W. Vargas. I am a recording and mixing engineer from the DMV area. Even though I got started with singer-songwriter and rock music, I have worked on many projects from different genres, which I enjoy very much. I have also worked live sound for many years and like to bring the feel and excitement of live shows to my work.

I do a lot of mixing and really like to take the vision of the project to the next level. I think a focus on feel and energy in a project is what connects with people so I make sure these elements are present as well as the technical and emotional sides of the project.

I also record which is the reason I chose this industry. I find there an infinite number of ways to reach a projects goal and always make sure that the "moment" or concept an artist is trying to convey in a song is captured in the medium.
