I’ve done three songs with Hill now.
I think he’s a genius.
Such a great collaborator and so musical.
Can’t wait to keep working with him.
Hill is super talented and very meticulous and professional.
I have not been disappointed with his work, and will recommend him to any and everyone .
Awesome engineer. He takes his time and makes sure the mix is exactly how you want it!
Very pleased with the end product!
Hill is brilliant. Extremely collaborative, knowledgeable, and a pleasure. He helped me enhance and further the soul and character of my song. It turned out better than I thought possible. I can't wait to work with him again.
Xevi was receptive to my feedback, easy to work with, and a great guy! My songs turned out wonderfully.
Great work as always. He did a great job widening the entire mix and giving me the CD quality I needed.
Hill did an amazing job recreating the sound I wanted. He was very patient and very fast. Will definitely work with him again.
Just finished another song with Hill ... and as always, its a pleasure to work with him. The mixing is thoughtful, tasteful, accurate, and sounds great on all speakers. Its always a nice collaboration of ideas.
Hill is a musician as well as an audio engineer. Mixing is art + science; you gotta have both. He focuses on finding the emotion and vibe in a song, and then applies the digital and analog tools to enhance that.
Highly, highly recommended
The quality and work ethic provided never ceases to amaze me. Xevi is dedicated to his craft and puts in extra effort to make sure your song(s) will sound as good as possible. The communications are smooth and productive. He also has a good sense of the delicate balance between a loud CD master, and one that retains all of the dynamics and nuances of the music. Bravo!
MixedByHill provides great mixing and mastering, and also creative ideas and suggestions along the way. Xevi is very responsive, easy to work with, and affordable for those of us on a tight budget while needing pro-level engineering. Start a job with him ..... you'll see!
I just finished my second song with Xevi (mixed and mastered), and am very happy with the results. As before, he was easy to work with, and did an excellent job of adding (and improving upon) all of my suggestions. I plan on using him for the rest of my L.P.
I just completed my first song with MixedByHill, with Xevi doing mixing & mastering. I loved that he truly listened to my song to determine what it needed. He followed my notes re: what I wanted to achieve, and added his personal ideas and touch .... exactly the sort of collaboration I wanted. Xevi has a good ear and understands how music should evoke emotions. I'll be using him for my next songs. Highly ecommended!
Such a pleasure working with him again! He is super patient and always goes above and beyond to make the music perfect.
He is a true visionary! Anyone wondering whether they should work with him, DO IT! We took the record to new heights with constant communication, intense work ethic, and sick creative ideas. He seriously will give his all to your project. Can't wait to work again!
