Started creating originals in Sept 2016. My vocals are very versatile so pls contact me for cover demos or listen to my originals in the link on my profile.

My music is my art & I like to mix different genres & step outside the closed box most artists stick to. LOVE all music but mainly House/Dance/EDM but my vocals are very versatile.

Looking to offer my services with other artists to create some magic and expression as that is what music does for me. I am very Passionate about it and started learning Ableton end of last year as well as completed my Diploma in Music Production and nearly finished my Bachelors in Audio.

I use Ableton 10 can create, help you of stuck or tidy and add elements. I am good in creating unique sounds, music and ideas with a lot of vocals or something unique.

Interview with Zenya

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My first track I made on Ableton - Love Reversed.... I am very proud. Writing, Singing and performing for myself and other producers. Always looking for new and unique projects and collabs :)
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: So far Every producer that has reviewed me has been wonderful and I have been happy with the result. Def long term work relationships on here and am grateful for all their understanding, kindness and advice. I’m always wanting to learn. Very good and positive experience so far.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Started creating my tracks on my phone in Sept 2016, My first song Love Me or Hate Me was remixed and played on radio within 8-9 months and I got an interview which was very exciting. It was also played on a Boat and Warehouse Party. I also had a label interested in one of my tracks but never found out who they were as was never told and that's another story so I def think i have some potential just need to work with people to help me bring this out more. Learning Ableton slowly and made my first which is on Sound Cloud - Love Reversed and it shows me best and my style. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Nothing they havent been unhappy with my work. Just need good communication between both.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on getting music done for a few clients and about 8 of my own tracks I am creating on ableton, where I do the music but takes me forever as I am still learning.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have none just my laptop but I have access to a friends studio to record pro vocals.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Ive had alot of misconceptions about me ha ha ha best to find out I am pretty easy going and flexible but extremely passionate and vocal when it comes to my work and ideas but don’t ever take me the wrong way. I have high respect and values for other artist and never ever treat people less than me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always keep asking and learning (I am still a beginner so dont consider myself there yet) Also, good connections with the people you work with and communication is key.

A: No preference
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Honesty, Loyalty and quality
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Ive just started and its been tough but I do love it!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you feel about that particular Track? Emotions your idea on what you want with it? Dark or happy? I normally am very dark but strong and can do some upbeat tracks if necessary :) Style they are looking for? I normally like to just do my things because if you are looking for something just like everyone else you probably talking to the wrong woman. I am pretty upfront and blunt so dont be offended :)
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just try out my ideas and make something unique.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, internet (if possible), Microphone and all the other things I need for a studio and to make music as I woul have a lot of time to work it out ha ha ha
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Mine LOL I cant I like to be differenet and do what I want like a painter no rules but I understand there have to be some guidelines.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Anyone passionate and talented...I dont descriminate
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I make House music or Dance I don't like to stick to genres as I like to mix alot of sounds like dub step and house sounds to make my own music. I hate labelling it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal and until now I didn't know I could write decent songs for people :) so I am pretty excited to see what else I can do for you.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Emotion, relatable, catchy....,
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen to the music, see if I can connect and then write some song ideas, words etc then get infront of the mic and just go natural it surprises me but works. If I do not connect or feel it I wont waste your time.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Amy Whinehouse - Her pain like poetry, Sia (just her words), I have alot of inspirations.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Singing and Songwriting - I only accept music and work I can really connect with otherwise you won't get the best out of me, I really need to feel the music/track otherwise I will be honest and tell you its not for me. Nothing to do with your work its just how I get the best for your music. That's how I work.
