Played keyboards with Mott the Hoople (1973-77, 2018) and Queen (1982). Numerous other sessions (live and recorded) include Yoko Ono, Peter Buck (REM), Robyn Hitchcock, Mike Harrison (Spooky Tooth), Wayne County, Roger Daltrey, Neil Innes, Julee Cruise. Owns many rare vintage keyboards and drum machines. Also numerous film scores and TV ad music.
Now in my 50th year as a pro musician, I cover a lot of areas of music. Mostly known for rock (Mott and Queen) I also have played ambient with Yoko, soul with Mike Harrison, punk with Wayne County and parody with Neil Innes (of Rutles fame). My home studio in Tokyo is based around a Logic Pro X system and covers a variety of vintage keys as well as state-of-the-art software like Kontakt. I am well used to remote projects - send me your stems and I'll get right to work. I have also composed film/video scores and some of the best TV ad music to be heard in Japan for major clients like Sony, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, etc. Includes some advanced Sound Design. I'm a man with a truckload of experience in the studio and on the road, and still have a healthy thirst for the cutting edge, the strange, the soulful and the warm beating heart.
