Mobile Recording//Mix Engineer

I record bands all over the metal/punk spectrum, and beyond, wherever my high-quality mobile rig will take me.

I offer a highly-customizable mobile recording service to clients in San Diego (where I currently live) and Los Angeles.

In addition to recording, I can also mix your tracks. I often provide these services in tandem as a package deal.

My goal is to bring a highly-functional pro recording setup to wherever you feel most inspired, and capture your sound with integrity. It could be your bedroom, your band's practice space, or an empty warehouse. Ever track guitar overdubs while relaxing on your sofa? Super chill! With five years of experience in recording bands on location, I have the gear and know-how to run a comfortable and efficient session almost anywhere.

It seems like I mostly work with various metal bands, but the equipment and techniques I employ are extremely flexible. My gear can go from ultra-transparent to super-saturated, suitable for everything from a string quartet to an emcee to a vintage-style rock band.

I am very comfortable in a professional studio setting too (especially if there's a tape machine or two), and currently have access to a professional studio (at additional cost) here in San Diego. For clients based in the Pacific Northwest, I can engineer at studios in Olympia and Portland.
