Melissa is an extremely talented and passionate singer. I've had a number of TV shows and short films that needed female vocals and Melissa always knocked them out of the park with little time to prepare and little material to practice with. Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Currently in between projects, but working up to releasing some cover songs and another 8 song album soon enough!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Music & Singing. Been singing since I was about 8 years old. Been writing music since I was 16 years old.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Folk, alternative-pop, alternative-soul, singer-songwriter.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Singing vocals on the "Twilight Short Stories - We've Been Here Before" on a song called "Lose You" also doing two featured vocal clips on a CW show called "I Ship It".
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will do my very best to make them happy.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That it doesn't feel like a job.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Go with who you feel the most positive about. Go with your feelings.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A piano and a percussion instrument is all I would need.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Mostly deep and soulful, with a touch of playfulness.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: James Blake. He's amazing. His passion and soul is similar to mine.

A: Be open.

A: How fast I can learn something.

A: Soul and passion comes naturally. I'm a bit of an actress, so I can mimic most vibes and emotions.
