Music producer, beat maker, audio engineer, sound designer, and ECHO JAZZ award winning bass player with 15 years of experience.
Hey there. My name is Chris and I'm a mixing and mastering engineer from the Boston area who also produces, makes beats, plays bass, and creates sample & preset packs.
Mixing is my passion and over 15 years of working with digital audio I've developed a vast skill set allowing me to mix a wide variety of genres while providing consistent and professional results that are both polished and daring I love using unusual techniques to get to the sound I hear in my head and don't shy away from complex and challenging mixing jobs like live recordings.
I've studied jazz performance and music production at the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabruck (Germany) and at Berklee College of Music.
My sample packs and MPC Expansions have been downloaded over 3000 times in a little over a year.
Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: While I love analog gear, the environmental impact, costly and regular maintenance requirements, and high barrier to entry made me realize early that mixing digitally makes the most sense for what I do. I wouldn't want to live without my self-restored reel-to-reel though!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That you will get a mix that can stand alongside the most popular records of today without having to sell a kidney :)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What songs inspired you to make this one and are there any references you'd like to send me? Will you also need stems and/or playback versions for live performances? Are you planning to release this song to streaming services? If the song is explicit, do you also need a clean version?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have everything READY to be mixed. That means everything's edited, tuned, and aligned exactly how you want it to and all files are exported to the same length at 24/32 bit with proper naming. The quicker we mix engineers can get going the better. Having to do "housekeeping" in order to even begin mixing wastes valuable time.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Barefoot Footprint 01s, audio interface, any Apple Silicon laptop, and my MPC One.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I like to create mixes that balance daring sonic choices with just the right amount of transparency to make the production shine and stand up to its peers before it even goes into mastering.

A: Barefoot Footprint 01s, audio interface, M1 Mac Mini, keyboard, mouse.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm collaborating with some exciting artists at the moment and I'm constantly working on my own music and beats both for future releases and for social media. I run a monthly sample pack subscription that I'm constantly creating new sounds and loops for and I'm working on a handful of huge sample packs and MPC Expansions for 2022. Another thing I'm hoping to explore is spatial audio mixing techniques to help me create more immersive music & multimedia projects in the near future.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Proper use of saturation is key to a mix that will sound great on just about any device.
