500,000,000 streams with global hits and credits with One Direction, Jennifer Lopez, Bishop Briggs, Cascada, Dizzee Rascal, TWICE, Fat Joe, Abraham Mateo and many more... Former staff producer with RedOne.
With production credits ranging from Bishop Briggs to One Direction, I have produced and/or written many chart topping singles around the world including "Love This Town" for Dizzee Rascal, "Halfway There" for Big Time Rush (Sony/Columbia), and "Say It Again" for Marie Digby (Hollywood Records/Universal). I specialize in all aspects of production and vocal production, with an emphasis on songwriting and compositions with an edge.
My songs have gotten many unsigned artists their first record deals and debut charting singles including Marie Digby (Hollywood Records), Panama Wedding's "All of the People" (Glassnote) , Thundatraxx (Island Universal) and J Brazil (Ultra records).
I've also done composing for Disney's "Enchanted" movie and have landed commercial jingle placements for Victoria's Secret, Coca Cola and Unilever among others. I can offer my label and advertising contacts and help promoting if I feel the work we do is appropriate.
I also do remixes and mixing/mastering work for major labels, most recently with Banners and Bishop Briggs both on Island Universal. I have been working professionally for 17 years and have been a staff producer for two superproducers, RedOne, and Ric Wake. Whatever your needs are, it will be met with reliability, professionalism, and at the highest level. My goal is that every client walks away with their expectations exceeded!

I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Eric on my new single through SoundBetter. I cannot express enough how deeply satisfied I am with the entire experience. From start to finish, Eric proved to be the epitome of professionalism and patience. He not only understood my vision, I can tell he really took the time to study my many references inside and out. His attention to detail to my feedback + prompt communication stood out to me as well. I would give Eric 100 stars if I could!

Eric helped me get out of a bind in no time. Like he says himself, he's not the cheapest, but his wealth of knowledge seems to be the result of a lifetime of data collection, and he can hit the nail on the head like no other. Many efficiencies can be gained long term by going to someone of his caliber.

Eric is awesome! Can't recommend highly enough! I gave him a really basic demo and he turned it into something better than I could have even imagined. He went above and beyond to give my song the best result possible! He felt more like a collaborator than just a producer and I can't wait to do more tracks with him. Super talented and the real deal!

I can't wait until the master is complete!
It's going to be I think fire! - check_circleVerified
Eric did a great job on my track, he was very easy to work with, took all my directions, and had some great ideas of his own.

First off. PATIENCE is this man’s STRENGTH! Not only did he swiftly create something amazing from a simple piano production I sent him, he was kind and patient with me throughout the process (despite my self-critique and requests for changes). He was always professional and his talent is noteworthy! Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND him for your project! I sure will be working with him again!

Very professional, had great ideas for my song and really happy with the final product!
Interview with Eric Sanicola
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I still love my Banners "Start a Riot" Thundatraxx remix, i was just very pleased how that one came out:):):):) I produced the entire instrumental!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Precision.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise you'll be happy at the end of the day. More than happy! Excited!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The journey of mastery. The constant revisiting of fundamentals from higher perspectives, and hearing yourself get better and better over time. Observing your own attitude shift and mature, while finding new value in work and work ethic. The idea that tmw I may achieve something I never have, either professionally or sonically. Its exciting.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: My advice would be try to get a clear picture of EXACTLY what the guy you're hiring does. A lot of guys "have worked" with people or been involved with great records, but it's important to try to get a sense of the quality you'll get when it's just you and him. This is why I often show clients songs I've written, produced and mixed myself, so they get a clear understanding of the versatility and skills I can bring to the equation.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 20 years or so! I started out as a staff producer songwriter for a big producer named Ric Wake in the 90's early 2000's. Later I produced for Sony/Columbia, Ultra records and others by myself, and then was hired by Lady Gaga's producer RedOne to be a staff guy for him. I've been very fortunate to accumulate great credits, radio play, and a great career and I thank God everyday.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Classy, swaggy, vibey, and fun at the same time lol:)
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: So many, but DJ Snake would be such a dream come true. His music sounds so classy and yet dark and swaggy at the same time!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: That nagging voice inside of your head that says that part still isn't right?? You should probably listen to it and fix it:) Oh also, check your mixes on headphones that are lying on the desk in front of you. It sucks you out of the rabbit hole for a second and also tells you the actual relationship between the instruments, and which parts your audience will be focused on. Make sure they are the RIGHT parts:)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Anything meant to go to radio, or pushed to playlists that can crossover to pop in some way shape or form. Lately a lot of RnB, EDM, Future Bass, Deep house, Tropical house, and Latin stuff...
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is probably being able to interpret what myself or a client wants something to sound like both musically AND sonically, and being able to make that a reality. That involves sound design, mixing abilities, and a sense of musicality that I don't think most can achieve without years and years of experience, and this has been my only profession for almost 20 years, so I'm extremely confident in my ability to achieve any sound, and any vibe.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the freedom and ability to turn the sound you're imagining into a reality! I have mastered the art of sound and songwriting, so I'm best when the artist is being truest to themselves and letting me help them bring THEIR vision into a laser tight focus!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm a ProTools guy! PT 12, Adam A7X speakers, AKG headphones, Focusrite pre/compressor, Sterling Mic, Apogee Duet, and all the best software of course:) (Melodyne, Serum, Massive, Nexus, Kontakt, Output, Ozone, Vocal Synth, Xpand, Omnisphere and many many others.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Too many to list but I'm especially drawn to producers artists and songwriters with extremely tight and precise execution, both in songwriting and sonics. Older artists like Prince, Phil Collins, or The Cure had this and artists today like Diplo, DJ Snake, Zedd, Kim Petras, Whethan, Madeon, Post Malone, Gesaffesltein, Swae Lee, Sigala, David Guetta, Charlie XCX, Madeon, among so many others have all achieved songs and sounds that really REALLY inspire me.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Hard to answer but most commonly I am taking an idea, vibe, or in some cases just lyrical ideas from a client and fleshing that into a full scale production or song, all the way to the final mix/master.
