He provided the revisions i asked real quick, and delivered a dope mix!
John is an outstanding mixing engineer. I like working with him, bc I am a novice at mixing music... but he does a great job of
helping me sort things out and I learn alot.
John is nothing short of a world class mixer.
Thanks for a great job!
Great working with John again. Quick responses and turnaround and solid mixes for all needs. He is definitely a stallion.
A pleasure working with John as always.
Gets to the point and is very clear and direct in communication which is perfect for me and saves a lot of time.
Another great experience with John. John is the real deal!!!
He is vastly knowledgeable, experienced and refreshingly humble. An all around cool guy who really knows his stuff. Top notch!!!
John was very easy to work with and the end result was of a very high standard.
I'd like to say with John that a really good thing, is he communities very fast and sticks to the facts and prefers work notes in simple list form. This makes working really easy and very efficient.
He is very open with ideas and suggestions, does everything he can for your project within the budget.
John is clearly professional in this industry.
It’s always a pleasure to work with John. He’s truly a professional and very good at what he does. He’s meticulous, skilled, talented and passionate. He deserves 6 stars!
John is talented, experienced and phenomenal at what he does. He predictably produces top quality results every time. I highly recommend John and will certainly works with him again.
John killed this last project! He's worked on my artist project (Prince Ivan) and a big gospel choir type record with me and now on a young female pop artist I'm working with named Anna Blu. John has killed it every time. I plan on working with him much much more into the future.
John was a pleasure to work with. He’s very professional and knowledgeable.
John was great in understanding the vibes I wanted for my songs. His mixes took my tracks to a lot more professional levels. He also gave me creative ideas that I didn’t thought could work but was in the end was big improvement to the final mix.
The service was great. We finished four songs the fastest way I could get, without losing any details or quality of the final songs
If you really want someone to take your track to the next level and make it competitive with radio-level releases, John is your man. Aside from the fact that he's worked with some of the best in the industry, he deeply cares about your project, puts in a lot of effort and will leave you very satisfied with the end result. If you're serious about your work, go with John. Thanks so much!!
I used John on my pop/r&B duo project and he KILLED IT! So, I thought I'd see if he'd be willing to do a big gospel record. He killed that, too. John is amazing. I would highly recommend him and I do. Love SoundBetter for linking me up with him. A true pro.
John is a complete pro! We had a mix that just wasn't working for our album and sent it to him and he nailed it! So happy. Highly highly recommend.
5 stars all the way with John! He's mixed 9 of the 12 songs on this album and we couldn't be happier. It all sounds amazing! Highly highly recommend!
John was very easy to work with, very fast and professional and giving an excellent quality to my instrumental track. I recommend working with him 100%
John D is super pro! Silky, smooth and punchy pop mixes for our LightBody Sound project and fantastic response and turnaround. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
John gave my song the radio sound I was looking for. John is a big time mixing engineer, with an astonishing resume - but he treated me just like a first class client. He was extremely communicative and attentive to detail. I learned alot from him during the process. Excited about working with him again.
I mean, gosh. What is there to say? Each mix sounds great, is delivered on time and John is a pro to work with. Very grateful to SoundBetter for connecting us with him. Highly recommend!
We've used John multiple times now and EVERY time he is professional, prompt, humble and cranks out an amazing mix. We plan on using him and referring others for sure! Highly recommend!
Working with John was smooth from beginning to end. He was patient and understanding throughout the whole process! He delivered everything I was looking for, I look forward to working with him again.
Very profesional and responsive! I couldn’t think of a better option tbh! Thank you John!
We love working with John! ALWAYS professional, transparent and super high quality. Would recommend him to anyone and we plan on using him much more.
We started off with one song and then had to do more. John is super reliable, responsive and HIGH QUALITY. We HIGHLY recommend him.
I reached out to John Norton because of his track record. I hired him to perform some mix and mastering work on the group Switch's first new song in thirty years. His work was incredible! I trusted him with this group's comeback single and it was the best choice I made. Working with him was a wonderful experience and I will continue to work with him in the future.
It was a fantastic experience to work with John. He is a true master of his craft! If you want to take your music to the next level, look no further!
Can't say enough about John honestly. He has come through in a pinch for us. Amazing mixes, prompt responses, quick turnaround time and willingness to get it right. I would recommend him to any artist and I WILL.
Have tried many mix engineers and John delivers on every level. The amount of notes and coaching necessary is minimal comparatively and the whole experience is just less stressful. Great turnaround time, responsiveness and quality. 5 stars for sure.
This is my second time working with John. As expected I am happy I made that decision. Things like professionalism means just as much to me as talent. He is loaded with both! He took the time and was patient to get this mix right as there were some issues that I should have addressed. I am pleased with the final result and will continue to use John as a mixer of choice in the future.
This is our 3rd time working with John and was for our first EP, BLKS: FEEL. We keep coming back because he does a great job with mixing and mastering and truly cares about independent artists. He is well seasoned in the business, very patient, and able to address any/all notes quickly and effectively. We highly recommend him for your project!
John is a real pro. No revisions. He nailed it the first time and that rarely happens for me! Great communication, he is the consummate professional and his years in the industry shows in his craft. I recommend John highly!
Fantastic work! Turnaround time, attention to detail, positive attitude, super high quality mix. Awesome. Would highly recommend!
Always a pleasure working with John. This time he mastered our second single Vital Signs. He is very fair with his pricing, understands our notes easily, always professional, effectual and gets the job done with a quick turn around time. We are happy we found him! -PWR CPL
Very efficient, professional and really understandsyiur reauirements. Definitely will use in the future.
John was simply wonderful. He mixed/mastered our first single as PWR CPL "Alone in the Same Room." A master, he could charge a lot more for his services but he's passionate about helping Indie Artists and knows that we are working on a tight budget. He is very professional, reliable and has a quick turn over time. He understood the sound we were going for perfectly and was able to apply our minor notes right away. We are thrilled with the outcome and will definitely be working with him again.
John is just wonderful. I always tell him it’s insane to watch him work. As an engineer, he’s so fast and efficient. He knows the technology so well. His rough mixes are easily as good as what you hear on the radio. What’s also great is that he’s a producer and songwriter as well, so if I ever need input for creative elements, he’s able to help with ideas. He’s easy to work with and has a wealth of very eclectic musical knowledge. I would happily recommend him to anyone!
John in the most skilled and talented Engineer I know!! I often tell my clients that he's the only other person I trust to most definitely enhance the sound of their music. He's super easy to work with and has a great turn around time. He's mastered dozens of records for me and my clients and you won't ever regret using him in whatever capacity you need.
I'm a big fan of John and his work. He was my go to guy when I was living in Los Angeles. I miss him immensely now that I'm in Nashville. I never recorded with anyone else. He's extremely fast and he and I had a shorthand that allowed me to work extremely quickly because he always anticipated my next move question or suggestion. Further most of the rough mixes he did for me were so polished I rarely had to do others. I'm sure that sucked for him, but credit it to his attention to detail, pride in his work and immense talent! I'd highly recommend him for recording, mixing editing whatever.
John is a skilled mixer/producer. His mixes have a nice spacial balance and a slick, modern punch. John also has extensive experience preparing TV/live mixes and uses industry best practices when delivering stems/files.
John is super easy to work with and he always delivers top quality work! He is a true professional and always returns your calls and emails quickly. I would strongly John for your next project. I know it sounds like a generic review but it's all true. =)
