Composer - Arranger - Producer

I have years of experience in the business as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer with many published works. I genuinely love and work in a very wide variety of music. I have a thorough classical grounding in harmony, counterpoint and orchestration complimented by having played rock, funk, soul and jazz all my life.

I have helped many songwriters take their songs from a rough idea to a radio-ready master.

Whilst classically trained in piano, orchestration and composition I've spent much of my working life in Rock, Jazz, Pop and Musical Theatre. I've made it my business to know the nuts and bolts of all musical styles and I'm as happy laying down drum grooves or funky keys and guitars as I am writing string quartet/brass/orchestral arrangements or working out 3-part vocal harmonies.

After leaving university (BA Music), I worked as a session keyboard player, midi programmer and arranger for EMI Publishing, spending many long sessions in their songwriters studio in London's legendary Denmark Street. 
As a keyboard player I've gigged and toured the UK with Jazz, Funk and Gospel acts including Ronnie Laws, Light of The World and Yes/No People, appearing at Ronnie Scott's, The O2 Indigo, Pizza Express in Soho and numerous venues up and down the UK.
As a composer I've written for television and radio as well as for the concert hall. I now have more than 400 published works for various production music companies and have written for documentaries, commercials and non-broadcast video.
