It's Not The Gear, It's The Engineer.
Started out recording at the age of 11 in 2000 on a karaoke machine with instrumental CDs. (At one point the CD player part had broke, so I had to play the instrumental CD from the Playstation through TV with the mic near the TV speaker and record my vocals.) I then started using Cool Edit Pro in high school with a webcam microphone I got for $10. 2008, this is the year I started to study the art of being an engineer (books, youtube, 2 local engineers and trial & error). 2010, now working with Studio One, Focusrite Interface & a MXL microphone, still just recording myself, my cousins and my group at the time honing my craft I gained thee attention of other local artist who wanted to pay me to record and mix their music, and this is where it started to really become a profession. I finally started offering my services to other artist in 2009. 5 years later I decided to go to school to learn more and take my career to the next level so I attended and graduated from Omega Studios School (because Young Guru went there). While in school I built a mobile recording studio set up and traveled to my clients for sessions. After school I worked out of multiple studio spaces around the Baltimore area growing my brand and network. Finally finding a home base studio at The Gold Room with a long-time friend over the years. Now is the time where I MAXIMIZE YOUR SONICS.
